Btw guys , when I was in school the other day , taking a geography lesson , we were talking about "the history of geography" , and now I know that the Babels were the first to draw the "world map" . Now I know why Adam says in "Broken English" , "tower of Babel has fallen down again" , like , the barriers have fallen down , throw away the map , it doesn't matter , I love you despite the fact that we come from different parts of the map . And of course , the teacher had to ask me why the hell I was grinning like an idiot the whole time in class . #It'sAGlambertThing Well, actually he is signing it because, based on Bible, when Tower of Babel were falling down, people lost they common lauguage an ability to understand each other. I am bad in details, so someone who knows better, please add/correct? The Tower of Babel story from Genesis: After the big flood (Noah's arc story) The people of Babel united and decided to build a tower high enough that will build them a great reputation as advanced people. God decided that this effort is a mutiny against god and that by breaking the unity of the people of Babel they will be easily controlled. The people of Babel all spoke the same language and had an understanding and worked together idealy. God broke the tower of Babel by confusing/mixing their language (in Hebrew the word Babel and Bilbel=mix, confuse are similar). So the unity of the people of Babel was broken - they could not understand each other and the tower fell. The falling of the tower of Babel is the story of why all the people that were generated from the same ancestor (Adam) have so many languages and fight each other.

Ok then.. after about an hour or more on Hit Predictor, only for Adam would I do this,I got to rate Adam.. I gave him a 97 didn't want to seem to cray. I learned a lot. 1.There are a lot of songs out there and only a handful make it to radio. 2.Radio stinks and is totally unfair to all the singers/listeners out there. 3. RADIO STINKS 4. I want Adam to be one of the handful.. because he is the best of the best 5. Radio stinks.............................. If you have about an hour or so to spare give Hit predictor a look.. FOR ADAM You got to give it a number? I get to choose from "Love it" "Like it" etc. and give a comment. [/IMG] ETA: Oh, I get it. You got the question about if you've heard of AL and how do you rate him. I rated the actual song. TRESPASSING is there to listen to and rate--not just Adam. I didn't get any of the rate-the-artist questions last night.

remember that "building a brand" advertisers panel that Nile participated in? (was posted here a couple of days ago)... they brought up Adam and Nile explained that he just played on one track... I think the HuffP article is using the same assumption that Niles is somehow connected to Adam as more than a collaborator on one song...

The blogger must be referring to the panel the Nile was on at an advertising convention (or something) that was posted here a few days ago. Nile did not say he was rebranding Adam. He was asked about his work with Adam and explained that they got connected through Twitter, etc. The previous discussion on the panel had been about his rebranding of Diana Ross. Maybe this blogger fell asleep and didn't really listen to what Nile said.

All I can say is: I'm so glad I've also watched this a bazillion times and I have a copy somewhere!!! ;D WHUT!!??? There are places/people that cannot see this video? That is just unacceptable. This vid should be marked with an "inalienable right to see" sticker So, here's the HD rip of the full performance...don't forget to applaud and scream "Adam...Adam!!" ;D Sendspacewww.sendspace.com/pro/dl/dbptxcThanks! I put it in the Nov. 2011 Round Up thread with other EMA links in case I need to download it again adamtopia.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=newsarchives&thread=551&page=1

Did you see the video? The High Notes of Creativityby advertisingweek Advertising Week, BB King's, "The High Notes of Creativity" - Monday, October 1, 2012 - 2pm - Nile Rodgers, Bill Werde, Laurence Boschetto www.dailymotion.com/video/xu0eqr_advertising-week-the-high-notes-of-creativity_news(The vid isn't playing for me, but I think I need to reboot my computer.) Nile talks about rebranding Diana Ross to acknowledge her role as a gay icon with the song I'm Coming Out. The moderator asks about Adam and Nile talks about Shady and funk. I think it's overstating the case to say Nile is rebranding Adam. I think Adam is rebranding Adam with Trespassing.

Laurence Boschetto.
