It's confusing to get conflicting info, but Q3 said midnight LOCAL time, not Eastern time.. :-/ The different is Soundscan which provides the sales for the Billboard chart. You can buy when available on iTunes but Soundscan will only start counting sales after midnight local time on 10.16.12. Might as well wait to get the extra benefit. It is most important for the EP which could chart on the Billboard 200. Also the only reasons to buy all four Trespassing Tracks from iTunes is because they are added together as Trespassing song sales for the Soundscan chart. Totally defeats the purpose if fans buy it too early. Thanks for reiterating.. just wanted to let myspenser know that she was giving out conflicting info in case she wasn't aware.  |

We are not getting the EP on iTunes anyway and I think Amazon uses local time. I never see anything early on there. Oops sorry if I misunderstood.. I was talking about the single track. It applies to both singles and albums. In this case the EP has the better chance to chart on Billboard. |
