hhmm... if you click on American Idol it will give you all the price range for each idol. Scotty's rate's the same as the two Davids, Daughtry is call for Free and off course you don't have Kelly & Carrie which will be more than Adam (150K - 250K) ETA: Adele, Carrie and Christinia's in 750-1mil range Hey I found a few.... Daughtry, Kelly, (Keisha, Carly Rae Jepson) are 250-350 range, the Davids, Jennifer Hudson, Clay Aiken 100+ range, KA 60,000. Here's a smasher Susan Boyle 350+ PS Adam was listed in the 150-250 range. As we...(well me anyway)... aren't princes/princesses with deep pockets. With our hope Adam's star shines even brighter thus the price per concert may be rising. It is time to get out the lucky charms, buy a lotto ticket and voila an Adam Atop concert. That is my dream anyway.

My son just got back from playing a show at the W in Bali. He said it was the best vacation of his life. They treated him very well and he stayed in one of their best rooms for five nights- and all food, top chef, was paid for, plus the money for the show was good. He said the audiences were great, too. He has been about everywhere in the world now and says that Bali is his very favorite place. Everything outside of the hotel is also really inexpensive... Boat rentals, massages etc, lol... New year's Eve shows always pay the best money, so I imagine Adam will make some good money while enjoying the good life.

Sounds as if your son's career is going well. You must be one proud mom, as your artistically inclined family seems to be building success.

Yep, just as true as the celebrity talent site quoted after the site used for bookings at colleges! : And of course we can't give any credence to what Q3 said because she just contacted them directly, no Internet involved ... : These fees on this site are higher than the site used for colleges. If you had read my post earlier, you might understand why both prices could be correct. Obviously, there is different pricing for private corporate type events and events held on college campuses. Compare all the artists and you will see that. Jason Mraz is in the 350-500K range on the link that Q3 provided. Why would artists (like Jason Mraz) offer their services to colleges and universities for less than they would get at private events, where they would most likely be singing to a much older crowd? What do you think? My guess is it is for the same reasons that artists like Bruno Mars, Pink, Taylor Swift and Bieber perform for free at the Jingle Bell Balls or the IHeart music show. It's all about promo and radio and trying to appeal to a younger crowd, now and in the future. The bigger question is why isn't Adam listed on the site for concerts at colleges?

It is great to hear of ones "kids" having such a grand experience. Bali...inexpensive for sure. I had a full 6hrs at a spa $70.00/couple. Adam and Sauli would pay more at the five star hotel ...but hey...maybe part of the deal! Our driver charged 45.00 for a full day of driving/touring. He had to pay American prices for the cars and gas. My view... the working class people deserved huge tips! If I were Adam my Xmas present would be to assist in the bands stay and allow them an inexpensive vacation. It's got to be part of the deal. ;D

I think some rates on that site might not be quite up-to-date, or reflecting the artists current market appeal and value. For instance, in David Cook's bio, "Now, with the release of his self-titled major-label debut, this gifted 25-year-old is eager to show those fans what he can do when he's in the driver's seat.", looks like his rate was quoted back then way before the recent label drop; and same with Jennifer Hudson, "Hudson most recently performed at the memorial of the late Michael Jackson", I'm guessing Hudson probably goes a bit higher than 100,000 now.
Also, int'l markets always come with a premium and those huge in the States might not even be considered big draws overseas at all.
Ok, a little OT stuff...I'm so sicken tired of my dance studio playing that Taylor Swift song, we're never ever getting back together, tomorrow, I'm gonna blast the hell out of the remixes!! ;D
