If they're thinking about a new album, they will probably try to release it as soon as posible. I agree with you, if that's the case it will be one-offs or mini-tours while probably recording on the road. Te question is: will they give Adam the same freedom he's had with Trespassing? I guess not... :-/ My guess (since I know nothing) is that he will not be given as much creative control this time. I also don't believe he will have the luxury of time. They will want something out fall 2013, I have to think. I really think the May release, while good because it allowed for a #1 album, hurt things in the long run. Not as much creative control??! WUT?!! This album is excellent and has at least 4 great radio songs on it! It received critical raves from all but 3 reviewers! And the 2 that matter most, Billboard and Rolling Stone were all Glamberty about it! The problem with this album "taking off" has never been Adam! Lets hope the RCA suits are not given as much control this time on which songs to release as his first singles! If Cuckoo had been first, we'd be having a whole different conversation right now! ETA: Ha, ha! Should have just quoted nica's response and said "Ditto!"

Comment on the second photo, which shows the entire wedding party:
Congratulations, best wishes, and all due respect to the bride and groom. But even if I didn't know Adam was in the picture, my first thought upon looking at it would be "Everyone looks nice, but who is that fierce, hot, impeccably tailored male-model-type on the right?" Frankly, the other guys look like their suits are wearing THEM. Not so with Adam.

www.balidiscovery.com/messages/message.asp?Id=8735For Your EntertainmentSuperstar Adam Lambert Booked to Perform in Bali New Year's Eve 2012(10/22/2012) Flamboyant. Fabulous. Theatrical. Phenomenally Talented. All are accolades that can be laid before American singer-songwriter Adam Lambert whose meteoric path to international stardom dates from his participation on the eight season of American Idol. Despite winning the runner-up slot on that show, his career has easily eclipsed the winner with the release of top selling albums and singles that include "For Your Entertainment," "Whataya Want from Me" and "If I Had You." Stardom was cemented further with a sold-out “Glam Nation” Tours breaking new ground in the music industry as the first openly gay performer to secure top music chart positions and sold out concerts. Possessing an “in your face” stage demeanor and a multi-octave vocal range, Lambert has been nominated for Grammy Awards and numerous European recognitions. A performer of undeniable international stature, Adam Lambert has been booked to perform at The Mulia Bali Ballroom on New Year’s Eve 2012.

My take on the line "hopefully a new album soon". This was said by Adam Lambert. Soon could be in 2013 or 2015. Unfortuneately for us, Adam's "soon" is usually very far away. ** Regarding RCA, they will option a third album from Adam. But the label has no incentive to rush out a new album from Adam before they have maximized the revenue from this one. On the third album decision -- it is not so simple as what did RCA make on the current album, it is just as much based on what they expect to make on the next album. Regarding touring -- I have no doubt that Adam will do a tour in the US. None. It is the most profitable place for him to tour and, one thing we know about Adam, he does take care of the bottom line. Can't agree more. I wrote this in the dark thread, but since the discussion is taking place here I am going to venture into my question here: WHY will anyone expect the next project to be received by the US radio/TV better than the EXCELLENT, critically acclaimed TP? Which leads me to the "creative control" discussion: IMO RCA involvement is the ingredient that incapacitated the whole project, i.e. it is THEIR choice of the lead and the second singles that pretty much killed the album so far. BTIKM sorta kinda made sense as a transition from WWFM, but the NCOE abomination was inexcusable. I have a strong feeling that it was shoved down Adam's throat. - again that's just my feeling ... RCA should stay as far as possible from Adam's creativity, but I do understand it is their $s....hope they are smart next time around. I really hope that the release of TP is not too late to make an impression. Both, the song and the remixes, are superb and should resonate with kids in the US and EU. HAVE YOU MADE YOUR MORNING REQUESTS? Exactly! You probably said better what I was about to post. Critics love the album. We love the album. RCA just didn't get the single releases right at all. :(

I also "know nothing," but I can't help feeling RCA's creative control was showing when they released the first two songs, which I suspect they insisted on being on the album. As much as Adam praises Bruno Mars, I have never felt he wanted that song on the album. I'm feeling instead of knowing, but I don't think it's quite time to abandon Trespassing either. The music is just too good. The response to PLL will be an indicator, and if he should snag a Grammy nom, that would be great as well. It looks like they are following the momentum and money right now, and not angsting over US radio. Not that they've given up on radio, but they are looking at all possibilities. We have no information about what is already in the works. I expect there will continue to be announcements as deals are finalized. We just need to continue requesting - and enjoying all the great music and videos we have available to us. Some are ready for "new" music, but if anyone is tired of the current album, check out the archives - lots of amazing stuff! ;D Got called away while writing this response, and now see Nica, S*&@^#r and others all feel the same! Great minds...

In January, Adam said in 2 interviews "the Bruno song would probably not be on the album." "It didn't fit." He was right! RCA held up the whole frickin album for that song! The 2nd song should have been one of Adam's songs, Trsp., Cuckoo, anything that represented the funkiness MJ/Queen/Adam vibe! BTIKM did well enough so that if the 2nd single had been better, it should have done well enough!

Great minds... You just have to wonder, Particularly your statement about Adam not wanting NCOE as the single. For gosh sake look at the vid. It shows robotic people doing the same things...Music industry maybe, mediocrity rules....an attempt to break out.....stifled by radio because they play mediocrity. He was making his biggest subliminal statement ever about record labels and the music industry.
