If Cuckoo goes to #40 on ITunes .. it will be in the top forty in POP..do able... IMHO Many radio stations PLAY THE TOP 40.. JUST MAYBE. Nope. Top 40 iTunes Pop means very little. For radio to take notice, it needs to be on the iTunes overall chart. Just a note on Cuckoo. It fit the episode like it was made for it. It got more screen time. It is not surprising it is getting more attention. However, since the album's release, the track that has had the most DLs, by people previewing the album has been Trespassing. Trespassing Deluxe album #47 on POP. It's charting whether on pop or main chart.. IMHO It's great that it's moving up ;D

Adam is truly a down to earth star! He didn't use valet parking at the Taste restaurant; instead pix of him loading the meter. I'm also glad he can still eat outside, knowing the paps are going to be out.
Loved PLL last night, Adam, of course, and the show reminds me of a cross between Dark Shadows and an updated Facts of Life, with a dash of Twilight.
The lesbian storyline is certainly modern, but I didn't like the fact that a villain was black. I didn't really see any major black characters, but like they include Asian (at least non-Wasp) female characters.
ETA: Not that I think every show has to have a United Nations look, but I watched it from my mom's point of view of watching it with my kids (now 34/36) and the "black villain" with the knife stereotype is one I would have brought up if they didn't. I didn't censor what they watched, but always watched with them or worked nearby while they watched to be able to talk through real/make-believe, people in real life get hurt/die in fights and when weapons are used, etc. I know I was a pre-helicopter mom of sorts, but discussing alternative scenarios and other decision options became "normal" in their reasoning styles. It also helped set up discussion rather than shouting mode in their teens. Now, I will step-down from lecturing in Parenting 101, and connect to Adam by saying I think his parents did an outstanding job, judging by the results. ;D

I think Cuckoo may just be connecting better with the younger demo. Funny thing, Cuckoo was never my favorite (yeah, I had a little trouble with the "Cuckoo" in the chorus) but my young kids liked it immediately. My five year still insists that Cuckoo is one of the songs they dance to on the Disney Channel show "Shake It Up," which is totally not true, lol, but goes to show just how current and "familiar" the sound is. It sounds like something you would hear on the radio.
It is really too bad RCA /DMG didn't anticipate better the great response Adam got from PLL. A few other "smart" TV appearances this week could have continued the momentum.
So fun to see all the movement on iTunes! See, when people actually hear the music they respond.

COuld you please throw a vote here for the top12@12 at 92.5 The Beat Montreal. Trespassing has been on the list to vote for days, but never ends up on their top 12@12. I thought it might be glamberts are not well aware of it. Let's see if we can make a change this time: www.925thebeat.ca/music-12-at-12.phpThanks.

Yes RCA seems to always be playing catch up.. that's when they even think about it. :-/ Although it may be Adam's management team that gets the gigs.. I would love to see Adam on Glee or another musical TV show.. gosh .. the fit would be great.
