[stretches luxuriously] Roast beef on pop cakes. Kid laughing wildly while watching Bewitched with her Daddy on couch. Sleepy kitties curled around each other. Fishies burbling in their tank.... And not one single person is expecting me to do anything, or be anywhere but staying put here. No one yelling. No guilt trips. Nada. Plus, federal offices are closed (tomorrow too!) so all my panicky, "there's-no-way-in-hell-my-team-can-pull-this-fucking-thing-off" deadlines for this week are canceled. I think I may love Sandy. :D (Sayz she before a tree falls onto her house or the like. NO JINX !!  ) |

power starting to go on and off more. I understand concern for fish. I gave my tank a big clean up and water change at the weekend in anticipation .I now realize I should have gotten a battery backup air filter but I never realized there was such a thing and too late now. If the power is off for a while I will just have to start moving the water around manually with a pitcher to oxygenate them - Angel fish, mollys, corycats and clown plecos. I did get my doggy to go outside with me reluctantly and wearing her little rain slicker, possibly for the last time until this has passed.
