Still here. Upstate NY wasn't hit badly at all. I'm thankful for that but still feel horribly for everyone in the NYC area (my second home really :( ) - Horrible to read about firefighters not being able to get to a burning building, homes collapsing, and even firefighters trapped in their station!

I'm horrified at some of the images. My first trip overseas was NYC. It's a special place for me, very close to my heart. I'm glad you weren't hit badly.

Not on Skylar's list Thanks, Skylar for adding me to list. Checking in too. Everything ok, one leak in roof though. Everybody made it through the night without problem. Neighborhood has trees down and siding on houses torn off, but that seems to be the extent of it. Have not been further outside. Had a few pretty rough hours overnight. Thinking of all those further east.
ETA: Thanks, Skylar, glad to hear that you are ok, how did your house make it through the storm?

The MA coast definitely got it much worse than inland, where I live. About 300k lost power in all of MA.
Everything fine here in upper central MA. I didn't lose power, no trees or limbs down and no water in the house. Driving into work, didn't see any damage. One coworker lost a tree and two lost power for a few hours, but that is all I have heard so far. Nothing compared to the damage from the snowstorm we had last Halloween. My town and surrounding towns were cleaning up felled trees for a month afterwards and we were without electricity for days.

Thanks for checking in drakius, craazy and everyone else. I've got cousins near Boston and Pittsburgh so hoping they are safe too.
Thanks skylar for making the roll call list.
