When I sat at my computer on the other side of the world that night, on-line - both here and twitter - spazzing like a mofo with everyone else, little did I realise that this would be the catalyst of what was to come for me. Never, EVER, in my wildest dreams or in a 1,000 parallel universes could I have ever imagined getting to see this 'magic' thing that had just unfolded before my eyes for myself five times, but also end up traveling around the world to do so. I don't think Adam, Brian or Roger actually realise how many people's lives changed that night and the lengths so many people went to, to see it for themselves. It really is a thing of wonder. [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG]
That whole trip was an adventure of a lifetime. Such fond memories, and look how tech savvy you are now. All that telephone, texting and twittering stuff, you managed to figure out the cheapest mode of operation. You got see the god himself perform 5 times. You were sleep deprived, your feet hurt, timezone fuzziness, wonderful food, you met so many ATOP'rs plus other fans. Memories of a lifetime. I would say you are so down the rabbit hole, there is no return evah!!!!

Has been awhile since I watched that EMA performance. Stunning. Powerful. Perfect. Balls of Steel.
And you can see already how much Brian loves the kid.
Laughing and crying at the same time. So proud of him then and now.

He misses Freddie a lot, and I truly believe that he feels that Adam is the only artist who could fill Freddie's shoes. Adam does it his own way tho, and I think Bri truly and deeply respects Adam. Besides Bri is reliving his youth and questioning his own mortality. I do believe when you get to be a certain age, you are thankful daily that you get up and see another day.

Catzmadam
Totally get what you are saying about SA stream. To add , I could not imagine being an OG fan, and this being the first time seeing AFL and have to be concerned or even thinking about streaming the concert. Would imagine it would be hard enough to concentrate on Breathing !!!
So flipping happy SA is getting shows and excited to see what Adam has up his sleeve for these shows.

[/IMG] Beginning on a beautiful thing ! Posting from my darn phone. Hopes the photo shows up
How much I love the threads on emjay.. all the speculations that it's impossible for Adam singing the whole song with Queen and coz there's Gaga, Katy Perry and Bruno Mars, so people said that he's prolly only going to sing 1-3 words.. LITTLE THAT THEY KNEW

Funnily enough, even though I had been WAY, WAY, WAY DTRH for more than a couple of years by then, this night also changed my world too.

So glad they found Adam and their music once again is being heard LIVE and appreciated by devoted Queen fans and new generations of fans! I really do hope that Adam and Queen worked together to produce some new music...new magic! But right now...I'll take them doing more concerts together in the US and the world!
