You know, since it was Rayna tweeting S*&@^#r, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he is going to be singing on this tour to SA. He knows Adam, knows the songs, knows the band, and he IS a good singer (the play he is currently doing is a musical). I know he has wanted to do more singing, so I wouldn't be surprised if Adam decided to take a man he knows and trusts rather than a woman he doesn't know. What do you think? I also think having one back-up male and one female will add to the songs as well. That makes sense. But after the Napa concert, I prefer Adam singing alone. I don't know how backup singers make a difference when you watch the show live, but hearing just Adam's vocal feels great. I think he doesn't need b/u singers. On the other hand I think Adam should invest more in dancing, so I wish Terrance would dance. But it may not happen b/c 1 dancer in a show looks odd to me. So I thought he will be one of the b/u singers. If Adam is doing a longer set, then he will need a song or two break during the set for a little vocal rest. So, maybe Terrance will perform a special dance in the middle, maybe something with an African flair.

I screamed and burst into tears when I saw Adam in silhouette and SMGO starting. My DH came running into our office asking "What's wrong!" "Oh nothing! It's Adam with Queen!" As tears are streaming down my face. I am sure that was the first time he realized i was so far gone! Ya know... you gotta hand it to these long-suffering DHs, who nearly have cardiac arrests hearing their wives suddenly shrieking and weeping from various rooms in the house. I think crazylady's hubby had a couple of close calls, too! lmaoooooooooooooo

lol... mys*&@^#r50. I think there was a collective, worldwide, fandom meltdown when we realised that a) it was Adam in the shadows and b) there was absolutely no other fucker on stage with him - cept for Queen that is ;D and c) he tore the roof of the place with balls of steel.
I live by myself with just my fluffies - but they got to hear all about what Mummy thought of that performance - multiple times - uh huh!
I am getting all queenbertty excited just remembering that amazing moment when we could tell it was definitely Adam....and kept waiting for Gaga or somebody to come and join in...and it slowly dawned on us that he had the whole damn thing....and he killed it....when he came out of the shadow and swung that mike stand back and strode forward...then when he bowed 'my smile stays on"...and the squee's could be heard around the world...HAHAHA.....well I could keep on going couldn't I....the "hard man" and the backward bows leading Brian out....

I screamed and burst into tears when I saw Adam in sillhouette and SMGO starting. My DH came running into our office asking "What's wrong!" "Oh nothing! It's Adam with Queen!" As tears are streaming down my face. I am sure that was the first time he realized i was so far gone! I will NEVER forget that moment when we realised it was HIS silhouette and ONLY HIS on that stage..... (all the speculation that he was gonna be part of a group tribute or something.... didn't dare believe that he would actually be flying solo!) I did something I have only done that one time - I didn't intend to, but just couldn't help myself!!! .... NZ time it was about 5 minutes before my morning teatime (I'm a teacher of 8-9 year olds).... I sat at my desk, headphones on, shooing away any kids that came to talk to me, waiting to see what would happen! Trying to keep my emotions in check those first few seconds was possibly the hardest thing I have ever had to do!!! Hand over my mouth so I didn't scream out loud.... struggling to hold in the tears, shaking..... omg it was incredible!!!!! Then the bell goes and the kids race out.... by the end of Morning Tea break (20 mins) the video was already up on YT!!! But, I have been thinking about it a bit and it brought to mind our one and only NZ concert here. That concert was 5,000 people and of that 5,000 I knew that only 3 of us had ever seen Adam live before. That was eri9, Tracey and myself. Probably 4,950 of those people didn't have a clue about mermish live streams, or how fast vids went up. I also know that eri9 had done everything in her power to get a live stream organised and it just didn't work out, despite her best intentions to make it happen. That was two years ago and streaming technology has become way more advanced and easier.
Now, the reason I am going here with this, is that in a couple of ~fan places during and after that concert there was some bitching about how useless the Kiwi fans were for not 'providing' a stream from some very entitled fans who had already had multiple opportunities to see Adam live. Not gonna lie, but I was pissed off at the time at that unfairness.
So what I'm saying here, is that I see a similar situation happening with the South African concerts IMO. There may very well be only a handful (if that) of fans that have ever been able to see Adam live before and have zero knowledge of what is "normal" for us with streams and vids now. They are just going to be excited to get A concert at all.
If it comes down to just one person willing to make the effort - my question is - do we want instant gratification with a stream OR wait a few hours and get some decent videos for later.
Just throwing that out there for thought.... :D
Hopefully I'm wrong and we get oodles of coverage from many I agree 100% Catz and I do remember the flack we got for not getting up a stream and not having 100% Suz-quality vids.... I DID try to organise a stream, not having a clue how to go about it (I still don't! ;D) but pretty much the only person I knew who had an iphone (or any smart phone) was my brother and he was not willing to lend it to me - it was brand new and he didn't want to risk anything happening to it! which I understood... No one else I asked had even heard of live streaming and were not help either! :( Two years on, and yeah, how technology has changed even in that short amount of time!!! May be able to sort a stream out for NZ's next concert!! (IT WILL HAPPEN....IT HAS TO HAPPEN!!!!) Hoping we get a stream from SA... so curious to know what new stuff will be included, but yeah if it came to a choice, videos would be amazing! Can't wait!!!

WHERE ARE YOUR GLASSES!!!My red arrow is pointing directly at something we have to discuss, cause we have a LONG WEEK AHEAD OF US!!!! QUESTION: Is that a thread sticking up? Or a random hair? Now, if Adam had taken me up on my FREE job offer as official lint-picker, I'd be taking care of these details. Ok so this made me laugh so hard -- btw, I have seen this jacket before -- of course can't remember where -- love it -- the single clasp in the front is what looks so familiar. Perhaps a random SHORT hair........(sorry, couldn't resist). Yah... a really short hair from the sides crossed my (feeble) mind, because it's standing up there so ~erect. But after I cleaned my glasses and my computer screen then got out the microscope, I think I saw some suspicious texture, which made me believe it was fiber, not hair. :

I remember your tweet oh so vividly virg1877 because it was oh so perfect and brought home to me how truly, truly Adam's 'glamily' reaches around the world, shares and supports each other.
We all iz speshul! but we are all brought together by a 'speshul' man [/IMG]
OurWorld Wide Fandom and our speshul' man

Awwwww, I got a Seoulmate Shoutout TM which just makes me feel like the luckiest little goose! I'm here, love, just swamped with RL stuff and with a (totally pretend ) resolve to get stuff done for a change, but actually factually I'm lurking all the time I can (I ain't foolin' no-one). Dramatic (not really) developments professionally that more likely than not will leave me flat on my face, but as a wise guy I wish I knew once said, once you inch your way up to the very edge of the diving board, all that's left for you to do is jump! oooooh... mwp, bb, dramatic developments that make you jump off the edge sound VERY EXCITING!!!! KOWABUNGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
