Actually pretty shocked by that. Virginia around the Capital Beltway may be blue, but the rest of the state is pure scarlet. #impressed Not here in Hampton Roads - Hampton, Newport News, Portsmouth, Norfolk all for Obama. Virginia Beach and Chesapeake went for Romney. Richmond and Roanoke also are blue again.

Jeff Flake wins the senate seat in AZ (and a more aptly named person does not exist--he's a douche). The democratic candidate won senate in NM -- yay, New Mexico!
That's no surprise! Our state has always been a republican state. My father-in-law joked to my hubby that he's out of his will now, 'cuz he voted for Obama. ;D

Looks like Bachmann is only ahead by .3%, at 69%votes in. If she went down it would be a clean sweep for LGBT. Can I hope?
