This is a rare event when I am putting up a thread for discussion of a non-Adam centric topic. You do not need to discuss Adam or relate your post to Adam. But all other Adamtopia Guidelines apply.

Please be respectful to other members and the candidates. If this thread gets filled with untempered posts, I will close it.
Thanks!

Also, I have already voted so do not attempt to sway my vote!

Being respectful to ALL the candidates is pretty much impossible for me. I'll just say that I'm gonna medicate myself tomorrow evening.

I voted on Friday, so the die is cast. Unfortunately I live in a household that is divided. I'm not sure how tomorrow will go. I keep check Nate Silver's blog for reassurnce.
But in my household, discussion has been civil, but every time I bring up something, he wants the link. Exasperated. Sounds like this board sometimes. Didn't happen if there is no pic or a link.

For some reason a calm has descended over me tonight. I have not been breathing for weeks, but now just feel a sense of peace. I decided to have faith that this country will do the right thing. Chris Rock is giving us an opportunity to laugh a little so here goes www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDxOSjgl5Z4

CSPAN is showing the Iowa Obama rally and no matter who you support, it is an amazing event. Bruce Springsteen is performing. It will be Barrack Obama's last campaign event ever. And many of the 2008 original Obama team are there.

I haven't even looked at this thread. I have been pretty much working as close to full time as possible for Obama here in the battleground of Southeast Florida since September. It is one of my ways of keeping sane these past weeks. I have only peeked in now and again on the main list as Adam is one of the other ways I stay sane. I really needed that performance the other night and had him on my iPad so I could listen to that velvet voice when I woke in the night and needed to calm down.
Though I have worked some on campaigns, I have never had this level of involvement and it has been a huge privilege to be part of Obama's team. The people working for him are amazing and they have poured their heart and soul into the very grinding job of a presidential election.
I don't know what tomorrow will bring for Florida other than lawsuits but I am going to be into the fray again giving it all I can. Whatever happens, I will be able to look in the mirror and say I did my best for our amazing President Obama. I so long to call him that for the next four years.

Theosgma, I am up in Ohio, the strange twin of Florida in Presidential elections. I have never seen an election like this one -- and I have worked on campaigns for years.
I do not have any words for what is happening here but I know the Ohio will be in the Obama column tomorrow -- and the turnout will high.
Best of all, the attempt to carpetbomb Ohio with negative ads (from both sides) -- mostly from Super Pacs -- has failed to discourage ow persuade voters. We have learned to use the remote control and not answer the phone.

Theosgma, I lived in South Florida during the national nightmare that was the 2000 election. I very likely voted for Pat Buchanan in one of the most heavily populated Jewish areas. (I plead heavy pregnancy and the flu, but still have the crazy butterfly ballot instructions.) I thank you for working hard in S. Florida. I still get calls about working at call centers, etc. cuz they don't realize I haven't lived there in a decade. Doing what I can in my teeny blue island in a sea of red. I grew up in household with very different political views than my own. I've learned to respectfully disagree, or more likely, just avoid the hot spot topics entirely! Btw, I have been meaning to tell you that I used to read you name as The Osma Girl, thinking it was somehow a reference to Osma of Oz ETA: I voted as well. Thank goodness for early voting so I wouldn't need to stress anymore at least with that issue.
