Actually this was my feeling too.. 5.4/10? WTF? and Muse 8.8/10? WTF? not to say anything bad about Muse, they are a good band. People still have prejudice about Adam. To me I think they voted him low scores simply b/c they don't like him. Actually, Muse is an AMAZING band.  I gave them 10 stars too. ETA: lol 7.6/10 right now.  I was meant to say if Muse was 8.8/10, then Adam is at least 8.8/10 Cuz this is talking about live performers. Didn't make it clear enough sorry :-/ I love all kinds rock n' roll. Muse's latest album is a dope. Although they are not really that cup of tea for my rawk taste ;D |

So, a little OT but still Adam related.....last week I picked up a stray dog running down the middle of the road. It's something I do all the time as I live out in the sticks and for some reason people dump their dogs when they get tired of caring for them. ANYWAYS, I've decided to foster this guy as he needs some socialization, some fixin', and TLC. So, I have to name him. I couldn't go with the obvious "Adam" as I already have an Adam and I caught some major eye-rolling from my DH when that came about. I thought maybe Sauli as the pup has almost the exact same coloring. BUT my DH is familiar with that name also -- it doesn't roll off his tongue but he's heard it before. So, brainstorm, the pup gives me his Huck Finn look this a.m. and it really did remind me of that childhood photo of Adam in costume. No, I'm not calling him Huck as I can just hear everyone around here singing the "Name Game" song.....Huck, Huck, fo, _______ . But, I came up with Mitch, short for Mitchell. Brilliant, right?! So, anyways, I have a new member in my furry friend society, MITCH! I love it, Mitch, you are a lucky little pooch!!!!!!!!!  You could name the next stray you pick up Adan's hotel name Albert ;D |

The thing is, I don't consider Queen + Adam Lambert a band. I see it as a special event. I'll bet many of their voters feel the same way.
