Voted!!! lol 5.4? Come on! :  I've talked sometimes about the little habit many rockers have which consists on dismissing anyone they deem as a "sell-out" or "unworthy". I've seen many of them who didn't see Queenbert live complain about Adam being a sell-out because he auditioned for Idol, or because he sings Pop. They don't think he should be singing with Queen, and they have all those opinions without even bothering to give it a chance. That's the angle the Spanish Rolling Stone used to cover Queenbert, and they didn't even go have the first hand experience. It pisses me off.  Well, at least they're in second place. But 5.4/10? ETA: lol Going up in votes now. 8-) Actually this was my feeling too.. 5.4/10? WTF? and Muse 8.8/10? WTF? not to say anything bad about Muse, they are a good band. People still have prejudice about Adam. To me I think they voted him low scores simply b/c they don't like him. This is an example of a poorly designed poll. Lady Gaga has an amazing show and is at 2.3 because her fans are not playing this game. The Who is also low and their current show is also amazing. So not about genre, it is about participation. I do not believe people are voting against Adam. There are three organized fan groups voting for their favs. Muse fans are voting 10 for Muse, 1 for everyone else. There is a group of Adam fans and a group of Queen fans voting 10 for Queenbert and 1 for everyone else. It is just voting strategy. And I am not sure why anyone cares about this poll. I voted because Brian tweeted it. But I am not playing the "1 Game". MUSE is amazing live and Queenbert was amazing live. Having seen both Queenbert and MUSE live - I gave them both high ratings. |
