I am so happy Adam did not take anything else other than his personal preferences, desires, likings and thoughts into consideration. I'm happy he got this tattoo. His gorgeous eighty year old self will just have to embrace his gorgeous thirty year old self when the time comes for it and I know it's not going to be a difficult task at all. The tattoo will tell him the same stories it tells us now. It's beautifully done by a master, so symbolic and intricate, a fitting ornament for Adam's fabulous body. He plans to do a sleeve, he said that once. Can't wait. The only thing I wish he didn't do is share such a personal story with the world, but I guess he just doesn't give a fuck what anyone else thinks about the tat...so, go, Adam!!!! I agree with you, but I think it's not as personal as you think. If he will got really personal tattoo we will never see it (unless by chance). |

I am thinking that there will be no additions of color or anything else... - cause IMO he would've waited until the end of the process to tweet to the world... And Adam doesn't "do" colored tattoos. But, he can always add color, if he decides to later, at any time. Sauli added color to his sleeve years later. I thought he add color to his first tattoo - the eye of Horus? Blue? |

I don't like and don't understand tattoo... yes it's an art but it's not my cuppa. IMO, Adam can do whatever he wants with his body.. nonna mah biz. ;D ;D

Haven't read much of thread today but want to express opinion on the tattoo. I really dislike tattoos. They seem sorta short sighted to me, assuming you know what you want drawn on your arm at 90 yrs old seems stupid, especially when they are random. BUT, clearly this tattoo is very well thought out and very symbolic and meaningful to him. And it is truly art. I actually LOVE it!! It is Adam and just like him it is done with meaning, artistry, intelligence, amazing skill, and exceptional beauty! This is his celebration of himself and the universe. I want to know everything about it! Eta I especially love that the freckles show on her face so beautifully! still on p.13, but I LOVE THIS POST!!!!! |

Did you notice the three monkeys on the window sill: see no evil; hear no evil; and I assume, speak no evil although we cannot actually see the third properly!! Guess we only know this 'at the pleasure' of Adam. :-)
eta...I think the first picture of the oldest tattooed women is beautiful and age does not diminish her beauty at all....jmho. Age has nothing to do with whether they are beautiful, to me...just my aesthetic preferences...

His tattoo is far from ordinary and will get some press. In fact it already has. And that's a good thing!
So I guess I'll...........
 It's funny. Everytime Ada got new tattoos he got some press, while some metal singer got on the Ink TV show and getting tattoo, I didn't remember he's getting press.. well maybe the idol blog. |
