Personally, I think any charity that is doing good work should keep any donation no matter who gives it. Even if it's a neo-Nazi group or the Westboro idiots. To paraphrase Eleanor Roosevelt, no donor can take advantage of a charity without the charity's permission, and this is a way to take bad money and "cleanse" it in a sense by doing something good with it.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that group that gave the $20,000; I don't know because I'm not familiar with them, although I've heard that other organizations have rejected their donations. I just don't understand why. Money is money, and people need help. I think it's a nice little victory to take their money, do good things with it, and not give them anything in return if all they're looking for is publicity or whatever.

Don't breed or buy while shelter pets die.

Reading the tweets to Adam -- it seems that most people are trying to explain why they didn't vote for her.

Frankly, there does not appear to be even a small passionate core of Pia fans out there. This is not like when come other early surprise eliminations happened in the past -- like Cristie Lee Cook. She even had a fan club.

IMO Pia's problem is that she did not appear to have a core of fans when she got on the show -- even though she has had some big exposure moments -- like opening for Josh Grobin at Madison Square Garden.

Pia can sing -- however IMO she does not hold up to Adam or Noa Dori:

I would expect that he is aware of all the reasons she got voted off and is saying that people are not focusing on vocal ability. He is telling us what he thinks is important.

edit: I would think that it's easier to train someone with good vocal ability how to move on the stage (take off those 10 inch heels for a start, Pia), rather than the other way around.

Adam is fully capable of reading or ignoring the tweets to him. I just wanted to make sure it was clear that the tweets back to Adam were not people disagreeing with Adam -- there are only a few tweets about Pia being boring -- and they are people explaining why they did not vote for Pia.

Follow-up -- on Tweets to Adam about Pia being boring -- 38 Tweets in 22 hours -- including 4 about her song choices being boring (too many ballads). Considering that the tweet was picked up all over the place and he gets 3 tweets a minute. Seems like absolutely nothing to me.

I find it interesting that Adam's comments about AI this year have focused on vocals and praise of those with more talent in that area. I don't remember what if anything he tweeted about Season 9, but when he mentored, he praised everyone's singing, but called out those who failed to focus on performance and emotion and energy onstage.

What is interesting is this new focus in light of what he has said about his own creative process for album #2-- more about the voice. Sounds like he's staying true to his theme.

It sounds like Muse to me...though don't know the song...I think that first phrase sounds a lot like Soaked ....and that is written by Muse so ???? I could be way off here....if so...scroll...
