charity:water must have decided to keep that $20,000 donation, then. I trust they know what they are doing and that money will help a lot of people Personally, I think any charity that is doing good work should keep any donation no matter who gives it. Even if it's a neo-Nazi group or the Westboro idiots. To pararaphrase Eleanor Roosevelt, no donor can take advantage of a charity without the charity's permission, and this is a way to take bad money and "cleanse" it in a sense by doing something good with it. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that group that gave the $20,000; I don't know because I'm not familiar with them, although I've heard that other organizations have rejected their donations. I just don't understand why. Money is money, and people need help. I think it's a nice little victory to take their money, do good things with it, and not give them anything in return if all they're looking for is publicity or whatever. Thanks for the post, murly! I always felt it was up to charity:water to accept donations. I also don't know much about the organization who donated and I don't need to. I am so happy that more people will get clean water! Charity:water has moved my heart in a particular way. Perhaps it is the first time I have felt like a true member of a global community. And the video from Ethiopia was so touching..I knew my contribution was going directly to those in need. To think that a grassroots effort of Adam Lambert supporters has helped to raise almost a million dollars for charity in less than 2 years makes me so proud! We are a force for change.

Quote: it seems that most people are trying to explain why they didn't vote for her.I would expect that he is aware of all the reasons she got voted off and is saying that people are not focusing on vocal ability. He is telling us what he thinks is important. edit: I would think that it's easier to train someone with good vocal ability how to move on the stage (take off those 10 inch heels for a start, Pia), rather than the other way around. I don't know. You can't teach charisma. You can help people get better with their moves, but you can't teach them the inner whatever it is that ultimately makes those moves seem organic and believable. Pia just makes me realize how lucky we are to have Adam. It is really so rare to have amazing vocal talent and performance charisma and great looks and great personality all at the same time. Add to that the bravery to be himself personally and creatively and you have the makings of a real star. Adam is it; he is the real thing. Sometimes when I see Youtubes of Adam singing brilliantly in his early twenties, I feel sad for the years we have missed, but then I realize he needed those years to form and shape and prepare himself to be ready to handle and deliver everything he does now. He has entered the fame scene more fully developed as a talent and as a human being, and all of that adds to his attractiveness and to his music in really great ways. Things happen at the right time, and I am glad I get to enjoy him now. Even better, I know this will bring him longevity in the music industry, and that is, after all, what he says he wants, that, and to find love. So I am feeling pretty happy for him these days, because that is my wish for him as well. And I gotta say, I love when the universe rewards deserving people!

Given the lack of pics of Adam with perASS, I suspect that ADAM WAS NOT AMUSED with his last case of the nasties. Maybe P will see that bullying really does not work in the long run and that social pressure is slowly starting to be applied against that sort of behaviour instead of rewarding it! As usual, our bb is ahead of the trends..... So true, Mszue. You said it much better than me! Adam always is "ahead of the trends!! 'Preze' needs to be held accountable for his mouth actions. I also felt the fact that Perez 'hid' his face spoke volumes. Gaga or no Gaga.

Thanks, pastababy!! I felt Pia was only starting to come out of her shell. I mean, it was the top 9, for Pete's sakes. How many past idols have come from behind, peaking later in the show? Who among the remaining Idol contestants has both killer vocals, consistency AND stage presence a this point???? (Comin up blank here). My point is that all these kids are still growing. A couple I feel have peaked. Whether you liked Pia or not, I would have like to have seen her stay on the show longer and watch if she did develop more. Ballads or no, she was one contestant I knew would have a strong vocal.
