Concert promoters book acts into arenas and contract out the ticket sales. It makes complete sense to me that the first release of seats in a larger arena would not be the best. The promoters are counting on the fans to call early and reserve seats. It's not a particularly decent thing to do but, obviously, the plan worked. So much for first come, first served.

Omg! by mistake my profile has been deleted. I got a shock. I returned from work, opened the computer, and what I see ladymaserati8 guest, oh boy all gone, my avi, pm's .. everything. I'm very sad because of this. The most I can not digest it, lost all my pm's from you my friends because they were for me a priceless treasure. Often I was reading them especially when I felt very alone, were wonderful cure for my well-being. This is a great loss for me and I can not get over this, I just want to cry when I think about it. I feel like I've lost all of Adam pics, videos interviews ect .. Now I'm starting from scratch with a sad heart. I could not remember how I could do it, not seeing what I'm doing .. This morning before going to work struck me change my avi, I started to play with this and avi from my twitter and at the same time I was getting ready to work in a hurry stupidly I deleted my profile and I flew to work as if nothing had happened. No wonder I got a shock when you return from work ... after all I am exhausted. It's late and I have a few things to do for tomorrow morning ... oh boy what a day, mess, sad evening ... it could only happen to me..  Welcome Back! So glad you really didn't leave. You are now are 1300th member!!!!! I think we had about 300 members at Adamtopia this time last year, before Adam's EMA performance. Love all the new members, and the international flavor of this community! |

I've seen Trespassing, FYI and even GNT dvd in many stores here and thats because most of Finns likes Adam a lot. But you know what is stupid? We don't get many posters of Adam, since last summer there have been only two I think, and both of them are small :( Just checked december magazines for Adam posters, and there were only One Direction and Justin Bieber posters etc... and those are in ever magazines :-/ Some finnbert knows where i can get adam posters?! Yesterday I was wondering if I would make a 2013 calendar with only Adam photos. Any ideas where I can get good quality photos of him?  That calendar would be awesome! PS. My English sucks lol. Understood you just fine. No problem. I made my own Adam poster and calendar. There are online sites that have programs to assist you with this. You are right. You do need high quality photos, tho', especially for poster size. I found some here: adam-pictures.com/ They were marked HQ. I also googled images and specified "large" only, or even the actual size number range I was looking for. Here are a few I have in HQ that I could send you if you want. Just PM me.     Thanks! Sorry to disappoint you, but even though it sucks, there is nothing illegal about what the ticketsellers are doing. If they made false statements to ticketbuyers, then there might be grounds for legal action. But it sounds like all they did was release blocks of tickets at a time. This is typical behavior -- it happens for many concerts, not just Adam's. And unfortunately, there is no incentive for them to stop unless people stop buying tickets to concerts, which is unlikely to happen. There is a lot of manipulation of ticket sales going on in the interest of making money. Here in the U.S. theatres are now using what they call "dynamic pricing" -- ticket prices based on demand. If I check out the prices for a play and then wait a few days to purchase tickets, the price may not be the same. If the play is popular, chances are the price will be higher. It's a way to drive ticket sales up -- encourage people to buy sooner to avoid higher prices. It's unfair and seems like a rip-off, but it's totally legal. Look at the airline industry -- they've been doing the same thing for years. The entertainment industry is now catching up. Sad. Sorry that you are frustrated. But on the bright side, so many Finnish people will get to see Adam in concert for the first time in over 2 years. That is worth celebrating, even if the ticket buying experience was bad. It will be worth it in the end. |

I see we have a great mix of speculation, disection of human nature, ticket buying panic/anger, a little raunch, and humor. Perfect. Loving me some burrito today. What I don't get is why such a top notch roll-up is from Taco Bell? You've got to at least be from Chipotle?!
Finns, I know it sucks but try to remember the joy you felt yesterday. You are going to see AFL, and regardless of the seats, I am jealous!
So here's my controbution to the humor. Some member (thank you whoever you are!) introduced me to Tim Minchin last ? Christmas and I am loving his brilliancy. Here is a song that actually is OT because it deals with a discussion we've had re using words like fag, as well as the discussion about if Adam's scars from his past have totally healed. My husband has ONE thing in common with Adam so I know how deap this kind of scar is. I love this song! Keep listening, it does get funny.
And i'll throw in another that is totally OT. If you are a sensitive Christian you might want to skip it.

I can't be the only person on this website who listens to the Trespassing album and comes away realizing they have heard excellence in a dance/pop album. Once again I am overwhelmed with the music, lyrics, sound, background singing, everything else an expert who is nominating for the grammys should be looking for. I am going to be friggin pissed if Adam isn't at least nominated. There are enough voters out there who should recognize the talent and perfection of this album. If they are voting for the best and not who sells the most (bubblegum music), they will vote to nominate Trespassing. I know everyone doesn't like dance music, but this album is one of the most interesting, diverse, perfect albums I have heard in at least the last 25-30 years.
The grammys will mean absolutely nothing to me if Adam doesn't get a nomination. This is based on the principle of an award show. Isn't it suppose to be for excellence in music? Pink's album is the same old sound she always makes. This is not her best album. Same with the rest of the supposed nominees. I am having a fit here. I hope I see his name tonight. I will be so upset.
I hope I didn't interrupt a conversation. I just got back on here.
