Drat! I've been pronouncing EE-ber as well. I got curious and looked up to find that Eber is an Old Testament name (what do I know?). It might be pronounce "EBB-er" It doesn't seem that commonly used in Norway, according to the skimming I did. I used to say "JELLY" for our "GELLY" too. It's hard to switch, even though I've never said either name out loud. 99% sure he pronounces it EE ber ;D
