Adam is doing a benefit concert to help homeless,unwanted LGBT kids..I would think both of the song choices made would be perfect for the theme of the concert.I remember Adam's voice teacher saying that she cried when she heard Adam sing Mad World ,because it was so much like him when he was in High School.My kids and my grandkids just recently sang Mad World for us and played guitars,a banjo and a mandolin,They looked at me and said for you ,an Adam song.I have to say I was so touched. I am also very deeply touched that Adam is in NYC helping to raise money for these kids.It's not about us,the fans ,It's not about Adam,It's about these unwanted children who have little love or opportunity. I agree with you. I didn't tthink about that when I first said things about the song choices. Tonight is about music bringing love to people. |

Hearing that rehearsal snippet brought tears to my eyes. Adam owns that song! His voice sounded ethereal!! It brought back a flood of wonderful, wonderful memories. And, for me, even Idol Season 8 is a wonderful, wonderful memory! :wub:

I am very excited for tonight, to hear and to see Adam again, it is always exciting moment. I just hear the little rehearsal and I'm already over the moon.  :Clap: :wub: It is beautiful to see Adam and his fans, seeing how happy they are giving me a warm feeling and a big smile. Adam is a beautiful person and it is to difficult not to love him.. :wub: Thank you wal you're awesome girl!  |

WOW - I just noticed that Roberta Flack is going to be at the concert tonight. Man, to hear her sing First Time Ever I Saw Your Face live - cool! Yeah, I'll go ahead and date myself, I used to see her regularly at The Attic in DC decades ago -- and she sang that song ALOT.
