OT: in the bottom right hand corner of the Yahoo.com homepage, there is an LGBT flag highlighting a poll as to whether gay is a choice or has a genetic component. Choice was winning 57 to 43 percent when I voted. I thought some more enlightened minds from ATOP could vote. The poll question is not well stated, but it amazes me that so many think it's 100% choice. Back to dreaming of Adam moaning and grinding. Eta: correcting auto spell. Let me ask, I thought both of these choices were incorrect. They dismissed genetic components years ago. I don't know the correct term but something about "markers" may have been identified -- maybe. Men from the mother's side, and ladies from the father's side. I def don't think it's a choice (well, for some it may be but I'm not talking about the people who identify from a early age). If the "markers" are part of a genetic component then I'll vote but right now I feel like it may be a trick question (pardon me).

Just watched Lyndsey's interview, what Adam said about working on new materials next year and feeling the urgency to get them out in a timely fashion reminds me of the discussion we had in Aug, while Adam was doing promo down under and had a little blurb of hinting another album might be already in consideration...it's one of the print interviews can't remember which one exactly, though.
Anyway, back then some of us had hoped for a short tour or non-tour so he could push out new stuff possibly next year, looks like that's what precisely RCA & Adam's thinking as well. The fickle Pop is FICKLE! imo, Adam cannot afford to stay off the radar for another 2 years, there's a reason why Rihanna has been releasing an album every year since her debut in 2005 (except 2008).
Adam's management DMG has been doing an awesome job exploring/exploiting the Asian market and other Adam hotspots (Finland, Russia, South Africa, etc.), but those markets are not vital to music sales. It's absolutely wonderful that Adam makes tons of money off those concerts but he needs another commercially successful album to further his career.
I'm guessing there would still be some non-tour dates in the US while he's working on his new album...my hunch is he'd be doing less writing this time around.

BTW: last night there was a segment on AC360 re controversial study on what makes people gay ( a new study that suggests a link between being #LGBT & your genes) , if I find the link I'll post... ETA: here it is!!! www.cnn.com/video/#/video/bestoftv/2012/12/13/ac-homosexuality-genetics-study.cnnit is much more complicated than we think... Well, it didn't convince me. As a doctor, I would say to them: "Give me a real study done on actual people. And do it right." Something in the mother stops her son from masculinizing and something in the father stops his daughter from feminilizing? That's a dangerous statement, and it's based on... mathemathics? What mathemathics? What about masculine gay people? What about feminine lesbians? And what about bisexuals? Nah, that explanation definitely didn't convince me at all. Testosterone resistance? Seriously? There's an actual syndrome called "Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome" and it has nothing to do with sexual preference.
