Did the album do well internationally? I don't remember it getting any gold or platinum certifications anywhere. :( I sure hope it did.
TSP sold 307,000 copies worldwide as of last week, per Media Traffic. And, I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, TSP is not a commercially successful album as FYE. It's sold enough to well cover the project expenses and possibly made some changes for RCA as well, but miles, miles away from FYE's success. So far, TSP has not been officially certified gold in any country, although pretty close to in a couple (South Africa comes to mind).
But then, it's all part of the game and the ride....

That poll is stupid . I firmly believe that Homosexuality is NOT a choice . But , do we know what is the thing that umm , Defines the person's sexuality ? Is it something in the brain , or ...?? What makes us Heterosexual , or Homosexual , or Bisexual ? I have no idea .
Sexuality is such a complicate and deep topic .

I'm so excited for VH1 Divas I feel like I'm going to burst with anticipation! Gonna be sooo good. I break out in a grin every time I think of it and I know I'm going to be smiling for two solid hours on Sunday. Adam will be witty and gracious and chivalrous and naughty and sweet and quick on his feet and charismatic and so, so hot! And sound incredible when he sings. I just know it. I do hope Adam gets a chance to sing one of his own songs, though it is seeming less likely. Would love to see him perform "Cuckoo." It has a disco flavor and seems appropriate for the occasion. But if he got to do "Shady" with Nile that would be awesome and quite a moment! Maybe Adam could do his own dance song medley. Just a quick taste of several songs, like "Cuckoo," "Naked Love," "Pop That Lock," "Never Close Our Eyes," "Trespassing," "Kickin' In," and "Shady." Give the audience a feel for the whole dance vibe side of the album, since he seems to be saying goodbye to this album era (though I still hope that they push one more song to radio--it could break things wide open) and not promoting a particular single. A CD mashup. Oh, well, a girl can dream. I'm so glad that Adam has a hand in the sound and other aspects of the show's presentation. Sounds to me like Neil might be joining Adam in one of the taped skits? And I guess unless Adam shaves during one of the taped pieces, he'll keep the facial hair, for consistency, during the show. Really looking forward to seeing the fashion and the dance choreography! Cannot wait to watch what all Adam has in store for us on Sunday night!  |

The Lynsey interview was nice in that it showed that regardless Adam is felling good about Trespassing, as should we. But it made me sad because I am not ready to move on at all. There's still so much potential in this album. It wasn't given it's due, gosh darn it! So, what will he do differently next time? What did they learn from the singles not connecting with radio? How will he be faster this time? I predict that he doesn't write. :( If they learned anything, it is that he should write. The two singles that held the album back are the ones he didn't write. Agree here  |

OK, hold on, is this song part of the medley tribute to Donna Summer? Something tells me they are not going to let Adam moan and grind.....j/s. Well, then what are they going to do? Because the moaning is most of the song. She sung it like that live too. She will get orgasm singing next to Adam |
