I also think TSP or Cuckoo.. either one is a good choice... IIHY is history stuff.. I hope not sing it on Diva :  The only thing I'm worried abt is that he might not get the time to sing his own songs .. but.. we'll see ;D I am with you, but hope for one of his songs from TP... my take from the interview: 1) no TP tour in the US (I am hoping for at least some one ofs)  2) possible Queen US stuff (I put it at 20% probability) 3) we get album #3!!!! Thinking about what songs off Adam's album he should sing during the DIVA show and Underneath came to mind. I love the song and I think it would fit the DIVA format. Something dancey would be good also Cuckoo or Pop that Lock. I really hope he does something from his album. He's not going to do Undrneath on a show fetauring a dance music format! If he does his own song, I am hoping for Cuckoo. Maybe I'm a pain in the - errr - neck  but I'm begging for Cuckoo since - like forever. I really, really think that this song has a big hit potential. Wonder if this is from the suits at RCA. When Bionic failed for Xtina, she got her gig with The Voice, and worked on a new album immediately, and she did not tour. Her new album has come out and it is not burning up the charts, but doing decently. I have read in several publications where assessments were made of how singers have fared due to their jusdging gigs. Of course Adam levine, Celo, and Sheldon Blake have faired well, but Xtina has not. I think it has a lot to do with her personality and image. Also they felt JLo did not fare well.
So I think Adam has directives from the suits.

As long as the quality of the music doesn't suffer, bring it on. 8-) I have to say I never liked WWFM but I've listened to it 300+ times cuz he was singing it 100+ different ways n' I loved some of the vocals There are a few materials on Top40 out there are actually good.. Our BB knows what's gonna grab the attention of radio.. I just hope when he goes radio friendly.. It's gonna be his own work that will be chosen |

I guess I will never stop beating this poor dead horse, but I believe an Idol judgeship would have been wonderful for Adam's career in ways to numerous to count. I hate that it didn't happen. :-/ ETA- He does need to be working on his next album. And none of this Nov-Dec-Jan-Mapril shit. Finish the damn thing and get it out there. He can't tweak this next one forever like he did TSP. So there Adam-you have your orders. heh. ;D |

What I took from the interview is that he plans on keeping LA as his home base--which makes moving on from the current rental home a bit curiouser.
I also inferred that now that his music career is more established, he is enjoying learning new things about TV. I think it intrigues him.
He also seems to have put the judging gig behind him. I think he was disappointed at the time, but he has been "auditioning" for a long time, and perhaps has learned to move on more quickly than his fans!
I'm glad he feels his album was enough of a critical/commercial success that he still feels proud of it.
He seems so happy and balanced.

It could do well as a single. But judging from the new Lyndsey Parker interview, I don't think there will be more singles from Trespassing. He seems so happy and balanced. And that's the most important thing, IMO. 8-) |

Just got to hear that interview. It is awesome!
I thought the chance of QAL in US seemed good after listening. Someone mentioned 20% but I am in the camp of I think it will happen.
Adam was beyond adorable and SO BALANCED. I loved his answer to the Idol questions and his forward thinking of how to make lemonade out of a perceived lemon. ILHSFM
