Cuckoo got a lot of attention from PLL. Perhaps that is why it's playing in SF. Kinda cool that they got a enough requests to put it on their mediabase form. Just like the RS poll. No matter what RS may think, I get the feeling that maybe "Glamberts" weren't organized. I didn't even know about the poll and I consider myself pretty hardcore. In a way it sorta pisses me off that they should suggest that it was an organized campaign as in some ways it seems to invalidate the outcome. I think it would have been so cool for Adam to have gotten the AI judgeship but not now with the way they have chosen to make it about the judges spats. I think it would have been embarrassing for Adam to be involved in all that. I feel sorry for Keith Urban. I can't imagine he would have taken the job if he would have known about the HeWhoCannot ameded up dramatics. Just want to add that I love Lindsay Parker's interviews. She is very good with Adam and I like how he chit chats with her. It's amazing to me how well Adam seems to have things sorted out. I guess when you've been surrounded by the ups and downs of show business you quickly learn it's just part of the process. I honestly feel that Adam's success is growing roots and he is catching on. He seems content. All seems good.

Love Lyndsey!!!
I still think it will be Shady at the VH1 thing; he and Nile are finally in the same place. And it's not like they have to worry about doing a "single" at this point. I think they will just jam and have fun.
SO happy to hear he is thinking about new material. I also feel a little bit of urgency. And, I also think he will head back in the "Max Martin" direction this time. They clearly seem to think the problem with radio was the songs and not Adam, so I think they will give it another go.
eta---In terms of marketing, it seems pretty clear that the Trespassing era is over. There aren't going to be more singles. And there also doesn't seem to be a plan for an official tour. His mind is on new music, new ideas, new projects---and I think that is so smart.

Wonder if this is from the suits at RCA. When Bionic failed for Xtina, she got her gig with The Voice, and worked on a new album immediately, and she did not tour. Her album has come out and it is not burning up the charts, but doing decently. I have read in several publications where assessments of how singers have fared due to their jusdging gigs. Of course Adam levine, Celo, and Sheldon Blake have faired well, but Xtina has not. I think it has a lot to do with her personality and image. So I think Adam has directives from the suits. I guess I will never stop beating this poor dead horse, but I believe an Idol judgeship would have been wonderful for Adam's career in ways to numerous to count. I hate that it didn't happen. :-/ ETA- He does need to be working on his next album. And none of this Nov-Dec-Jan-Mapril shit. Finish the damn thing and get it out there. He can't tweak this next one forever like he did TSP. So there Adam-you have your orders. heh. ;D I agree, Idol would have been big. But, they are looking at new projects so that is a good thing. I also think he needs to get material out more quickly. And, I also think they need to shoot for a Fall release; for a bunch of reasons.

Adam"s Dad is so funny. He always cracks me up. Do you guys remember when he tweeted Adam that a computer tech course pamphlet had arrived for him in the mail? He said he'd save it for Adam in case he needed a fall back plan. I tried to find it the other night but it's been years ago.

Miles Tougeaux @milestougeaux@adamlambert I'm going out on a limb here and casting a "No" vote for "Papa Dont Preach" #VH1Divas This is amusing on so many levels. Eber is his "papa" who has probably "preached" some, and I love how his family adds these tidbits to his career as support and humor and it doesn't feel like interfering at all.
