(At the risk of sounding like teddybear) Adam will NOT be singing one of his songs on Divas.
Do the math. A LOT of performers, each have to sing, each want to sell themselves and their music. Yeah, Kelly gets her song but probably as a deal to get her on the show. Not everybody can, and besides Trespassing songs are essentially unknown here. I predict the Madonna song and the Donna Summer medley only. Maybe a small bit in someones elses number if we are lucky.
But, really, it doesn't matter the details. Adam will start the show, end the show, stand out among all those women, have impeccable vocals, and without a doubt have more face time than anyone. Divas may not be selling Trespassing, but it will be selling Adam Lambert. I am thankful for whatever they give him!
My only slight worry is how he isn't at his best when he is given the words to say...

I love Lyndsey's interview with Adam..good chemistry. Adam got a lot from the Trespassing album #1 On BB200. That's worth a great deal ,like a grammy nod.. good for his resume. He also got lots of overseas tours and the album has done well on overseas radio. The album may not have been a huge commercial success ,but it is a critical success, some really great reviews. It's U.S.Radio that was the bummer.So I think Take the good that the album provided and yes move on to the next album.Learning to get it out there quickly,without all the glitches that happened with the second album. I think being a judge on idol would have been helpful to Adam as far as getting himself seen on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.On the other hand ,I think not getting that gig has led Adam to try many new avenues that he might not have had time for. I also think singing around the world to big,like a billion people, and small audiences has built world wide musical& professional creed. It's made Adam an International star.I love that Adam enjoys new challenges,he seems to thrive on change,on pushing into new directions.. IMHO, He's an explorer and a gifted student of all types of music... so buckle up here we go into uncharted waters.. I feel a new adventure brewing in Adam's world.  |

I think it depends on the words he's given. Which is true of every celebrity. How many times have we seen truly awesome actors look foolish when they're attempting lame banter at an awards show? It all goes back to the writing. If the writing is clever and smart, Adam will do fine. |

Good morning. I never had any problems getting on Atop yesterday....I'm glad I didn't have to go through the drama of thinking it was gone (remembering PF here)!!
I thought the Neil tweet about the different Lamberts meant we'll see Adam in many different outfits and characters. But I really have no idea.
Really looking forward to the show Sunday!!

The Lynsey interview was nice in that it showed that regardless Adam is felling good about Trespassing, as should we. But it made me sad because I am not ready to move on at all. There's still so much potential in this album. It wasn't given it's due, gosh darn it!
So, what will he do differently next time? What did they learn from the singles not connecting with radio? How will he be faster this time?
I predict that he doesn't write. :(
