Good one, Skylar! Religions aren't bad per se, but they've certainly caused lots of trouble throughout the years.

Bless your organized heart. But if you're like me, you would have absolutely NO IDEA when and where Adam sang that song. My brain ------> every month has a label. And I am very forgetful about "when" something happens but I usually can remember "where" unless it was quite awhile ago in which case I am screwed ;D

I think Adam is spiritual but not religious. He stated he was an agnostic on Idol. Sending energy is his way of connecting with and supporting the families in this tragedy. Even those of us that are not religious feel the need to make spiritual connections at times like this. Its a human thing.

www.accesshollywood.com/adam-lambert-talks-vh1-divas-people-arent-ready-for-this-party_article_73900Adam Lambert is gearing up to host “VH1 Divas” this Sunday and he told Access Hollywood that fans should expect the unexpected. “I just feel like people aren’t ready for this party. I don’t think anyone’s going to be ready for it,” he told Access earlier this week in an exclusive interview to promote the VH1 special. “It’s going to hit them like a ton of bricks across the face and people are going to walk away from watching this thing like, ‘That was the best party of the entire year. I feel it. Yeah!’” Aside from the celebrities set to perform at the show, like fellow “American Idol” alum Kelly Clarkson, “The X Factor’s” Demi Lovato, Keri Hilson and Bootsy Collins, non-singers like NeNe Leakes are also a part of the festivities. “We’re opening the show this year with this kind of comedy sketch, mocumentary style [chronology, looking at] my journey to becoming a true diva. And in the sketch, NeNe comes in and she’s like the diva coach,” Adam explained. “She’s giving me my swag… I predict it’s going to be a lot of laughter and we’re probably going to have to pull it together for these takes so that we can seem serious, but I’m sure it’s going to be a lot of fun.” Adam will perform a Madonna song at the event, but he refused to reveal which one. “You have to tune in,” he said. “It’s a surprise! That’s all I can say.” “VH1 Divas” airs Sunday, December 16 at 9/8c on the network. :4OMG:

There is no one right thing to say at such a heartwrenching time, but I don't think that hateful rhetoric like Neil's has a place right now. In contrast, I think Adam's remarks are beautiful and just so Adam. He has a heart as big as the world - one reason I love him so much. I think Gokey was being hateful and out of place, trying to take advantage of this tragedy to attack laicism in school, which is a basic human rights matter. If I ever have kids, I don't want them to learn in school that their family is totally wrong. And Adam probably thinks the same, but he is a public figure and he should be more careful than Neil.

Adam Lambert: "I have full respect for EVERYBODY'S religion. Everybody has the right to choose what every religious, spiritual path that they want to choose." And the tweets today, where I think Adam sorta bitch slaps someone for making light of his tweet sending energy: Adam Lambert @adamlambert Sending energy to the families who are suffering this horrible tragedy... Expand 1h Gage Lang @gagelang @adamlambert wtf is energy? Lol Expand 1h Adam Lambert @adamlambert @gagelang energy is sorta like sending prayers. It's not a laughing matter. Look at the bottom of this page showing Adam's tweets. The person he answered above sent another serious tweet - and Adam retweeted it. He is something else. He does so many "little things" that show what an extraordinary person he is. He's probably the kindest diva around...

BTW, are those rumours I've read about Danny Gokey being a shit to Adam during Idol true? ??? Yes, apparently he was. Anyway, nobody cares about that loser anymore. Well, if we have to judge from Neil's answer, then it must be true.

Well, for Neil to respond to DG in such a manner makes me think that something did indeed happen between the Lamberts and the Gokeys. So be it, people are entitled to have their own thoughts on things. Dan may be of the ilk to not be able to separate church from state. Many don't and, in fact, feel it is a betrayal to do so. Tolerance is not in their vocabulary. On the other hand (Neil) some just have little tolerance altogether if you don't agree with their side of things. I can't believe I'm saying this but Sarver hit the nail on the head.

I love Adam's responses to today's tragedy. Yes, he has a big heart, and I will be interested to see if he, or any of the other performers tonight, say anything or dedicate songs to what happened. Mad World would be a great fit, although I don't know if Adam wants to go there in this performance.
By the way, the tweet below describes why I want to get a degree in Mental Health Counseling. I would love to work with first responders and others who experience this kind of trauma. So awful.
Stomp. Clap. @jctweet2 Can't imagine the horror of the first responders who walked into the scene of all those dead children. They'll never get over that tragedy.
