Earlier today someone posted that they had heard the the captioner for the Divas show did a little editorial addition to the Pitbull intro. Pitbull was described as "the sexiest man" and the captioner allegedly added "except for Adam Lambert." At the time I thought it was funny but highly unlikely, because captioners are prohibited from adding or subtracting anything from the audio track. It's a big time ethical "no-no."
Well, I was just watching the Adam parts of Diva I had recorded (fast forwarding thru everything else), and my TV is set to display captions. I decided to check out the Pitbull intro myself. DAMN! The captioner DID add that! Wonderful! Hope she didn't get in any hot water for correcting the speaker. I mean, really? Pitbull? Compared to Diva Adam????

BOY will they be happy when they learn who the host was It was mentioned that Adam hosted.. The annual show, hosted by Adam Lambert, paid tribute to the late Whitney Houston who tragically passed away in February. |

I'm kinda curious why he brought it up too, since all the "reviews" I've read haven't mentioned anything negative about his performance. I don't hate it, but am really curious why he drew negative attention to it himself.. I think he did it because he is honest and because it is better if he is the one who says there were issues with the performance. ROL is a very hard song to sing. Someone I respect pointed out that it just proves that Madonna is highly underrated as a vocalist. I'm also curious why he didn't also mention that he was having sound issues in the beginning which threw him off pitch. |

He liked his outfit. And I don't think he would dis the designer that way. I think he meant his some of his dance moves.

He really is a perfectionist. |

Whatever he was referencing, I do admire his mentality of deciding to choose laughter at times as he critiques himself. Why critique himself "out loud"? Well, he is honest and real. Laughter reminds himself (and others) that every little thing is not that deep. And frees him up to feel proud of all that went well. I'm glad that watching, he also feels proud. Re-watching the show yesterday, I felt proud right along with him. And I loved his moves in ROL as well as the costume.  |
