I still mourn that Adam didn't get the AI judgeship gig. What better way for an immense audience to come to know him, appreciate him as well-spoken, likeable and good looking. The masses could become comfortable and familiar with him. One-offs are good, but do not compare to regular exposure on a national stage. International concerts are good too, but his absence from the U.S. doesn't help his career here. I think that Trespassing went so largely unnoticed because his presence is so lacking here at home. I think his being largely off the radar in the U.S. is one reason radio pretty much ignored him this time around as well. He did make the rounds to radio but then he fell off their radar too. And I don't think that fans yelling at and chiding/insulting radio stations is any help and probably does more harm than good.
I feel bad about it for him and for us. Think how much fun it would have been to watch Idol again if Adam were on the judging panel every week. As it is--I have a sinking feeling that Nicki Minaj is going to make it unbearable. |

A 5 hr layover in Hong Kong, from the time the Glamily tweeted would make their flight 11 a.m. HK time. But the 2 flts leaving HK for Bali are at 10 a.m. and Noon. LOL! I wonder which one they will be on! I am going to guess the 10 a.m. one. That will be 6 Pacific Time.

Of course, one reason for low sales is that you can always download it from internet. In some countries, pirated ones costs 20% of the legal ones. When I inquired about Trespassing at a store, I was tossed back and forth by the salesladies who do not know what I was talking about. By the way, there were lots of AI cds there. AI live concert was shown few weeks before.
But back to the story, I did not give up my search and saw it hidden. There were only two copies and I asked whether they have still in stock. I got a negative reply. Advertised outside as best sellers include Psy, Carly Rae, 1D,Bieber and local singers. I hope my purchase counts. First CD by a pop singer i bought.
I bought just to support Adam. no use being a fan if one doesn't buy his cds. I wanted to buy Glam concert, but I find the shipping too much and i am nervous what the tax would be. Anyway, there is a possibility that there will be a sale of his albums during his concert, right? I am saving for that. I cannot afford the expensive seats but will try for the lower boxes which is more than $100. Other seats are too far for me. And i am thinking of buying a binocular.

So nice to hear, Zinnia, that in Finland Adam's songs had a place in playlists during Christmas time too. I expect to find not only TP, IIHY, WWFM, FYE and BTIKM but also NCOE, Sleepwalker and Aftermath on the playlists in January  TP might not be on high rotation any more but the most important thing is that his music is heard - and I personally prefer variety. |

Reminded me of this: When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.

Had to post this again and have your support! Q3 approved my idea for a new thread!!! He will do it during the weekend. The idea has been hovering in my mind since I became addicted to Adam last week of October this year. It is about PLOTTING for ADAM!! Now instead of fan arts which many of us can only admire but do not have the talent, but we do have our imagination to plot storylines for Adam in TV. Example, how would you like Adam to appear back in PLL! So let your imagination and fantasies run wild and support my very first thread!!! Don't post the storyline here but wait for my thread!!!!  By the way, I do not sing. My voice perhaps can sing half-octave and I would be lucky if I hit the right notes. But I have my imagination for Adam -- sorry, not sexy and wild -- but plots to expose his voice! !! He,he,he ;D ;D ;D But you can still post your imagination... whatever it is, be it as a host or weatherman.
I'm looking forward to this thread! Ideas for Adam in a TV show or movie have often occurred to me and I'd love to share mine and read others from my fellow Atopians.
