This was posted in the numbers thread but it may affect some of our "Adam Stanning Techniques", so I'm re-posting it in the main thread, and a big thank you to fooffyschmoofer!

BLUE 980, PINK 780 and GREEN 380, which are all very reasonable in Shanghai's standard. That popular Japanese group which I posted on page 1 had the same 5000 seats concert back in March, their floor seats cost 2000 and 3000, the rest 1500, 1000 and 500. Because this is Adam's very first mainland China concert and they want to make it a fanfare; most of his fans in China are high school & college kids so affordability is important to them. The Chinese Glamberts really deserve this concert! They have done so much and waited so long for Adam!! [/IMG]
This is really exciting for the Chinese Glamberts!! The lighting and production in the video showing the venue is pretty darn amazing!!! It is hard to compete with the costs of a production like that when the flight/travel costs are so substantial for this upcoming non-tour. I cross my fingers for a little razzle, dazzle and yet not breaking the bank. Maybe easier to rent and have equipment set up at each venue, than to haul it around....hard to know... but I wait in anticipation if luck will have it ... 2hrs of vids. ! I can hardly wait to seeing the fashion statement for Adam and the gang on New Year's Eve. (And of course for the upcoming non-tour...but one step at a time.)

I bet the band will really be "dressed up" for the Bali NYE concert because it is part of a classy hotel opening.
Who decides how the band is going to look, I wonder? Do they decide at rehearsal? art director? Stylist?
Or, maybe they are just going to continue to rock the trespassing yellow and black so they don't have to pack and carry a bunch of extra stuff?
Inquiring mind...

True, but when does he have time to pick out a house with Sauli, get ready to move, build a closet room for their clothes, and then not only decide what he is going to wear, but what the band will wear? I know Leila helps, but just packing would be formidable. Maybe Bali is more casual? Can we hope for Zeus in a thong? (I never really understood that reference, actually).

I scrolled to the bottom and the last poll is for the best singing competition. I threw in a vote for idol just to get to see the results and found XFactor was winning by a long way. Does Simon Cowell have a bot machine?

So, I took 580 RMB as an average ticket price here. Multiplied by 5000 and guess what I got?!! $460,000 $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I love this math!

First, I doubt he had to pack or move himself. You can hire people to do that. Why would he have to build a closet? The homes in his price range have massive walk-in closets. As far as "looking" for a home, Leila probably narrowed it down and then Adam looked. 2 days of rehearsal last week would have been plenty of time to say, "OK, band, We're dressing up for Bali!" It's not like his band ever looks sloppy or grunge! :-/
