my favorite thing to do with kale is let it sit in the refrigerator for a couple weeks then throw it out! I do have a soup recipe it is ok in (even there I usually substitute spinach), but it would seriously ruin a smoothie for me.

Monday - Coconut OilBecause Adam said so! Bringing this over from the main thread today, yeah! www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=N4VZGqsdv9MNow most of our resident doctors don't agree with Adam that Coconut Oil is better for you than Olive Oil but they do agree that it is a viable oil to use for those situations where you don't want to use Olive Oil and as with all fats, if used in moderation. We talked about Coconut Oil in our very first shape up thread two years ago. This is the kind I buy at Fred Meyer's and it's also available in giant jars now at Costco. The main thread posted a nice link to a Dr. Oz article I enjoy coconut oil in my bath, as a after shower moisterizer, and as a hair conditioner. If you have an area that needs lubed, coconut oil can do it.

Tuesday - TreadmillNot every day Adam writes our shape up message so got to take advantage when he does. They say that treadmills are less stressful on your knees than walking/running on ground. www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=r4PY82LggZINote for those of you with senior citizens living with you (or vice versa). If you are already members of a health club check with them and see if you can add them onto your membership. I'm going to be doing this with my dad and it looks like if it's not totally free because of my family membership then it's $2 a month. chappy, I feel so conditioned
