hhhhhhhaaaaaaaaa! Sorry chappy, don't sigh, I missed this morning didn't I? My son had a sleep over and I had relatives in town, which meant my entire nightly schedule went flying out the window. I promise I'll come up with something for Sunday so you you don't have to tap your toe at me so literally.

Sunday - The Scale
Picked up a glass top scale at the second hand store. I'm not passing it on to other unsuspecting souls. It will be going in the trash. Amazon ratings give it more 1s than 5s. It was only 4 dollars so good test run. I didn't realize the new fangled ones were all using what I call watch batteries. Expensive. My 20 year old digital does just fine thankyou on a new 9 volt every couple of years. It also wasn't lit up so you had to have the light on to see it and a master's degree to use it as it didn't weigh the same every time. It supposedly had memory for 2-4 people so that it could track your loss. If I want that fancy my wii fit does that.
So things to look for based on whether you are pro or con for certain attributes:
Batteries Can you see it in the dark Accuracy Complexity Memory
I may keep looking because I do like the 10th of a pound view but I'll go with something that has better user ratings.
-stardust, my workout center offers water aerobics too. Now I'm scared, last time I took a class, it wound up being boot camp, it shot my knee for a year.

I went ahead and got a fitbit one yesterday. Found out I could get it at Best Buy so I was able to use my card. I also had some rewards certificates and didn't know that I could use more than one at a time. I had $50 dollars worth total and was able to use all of them so that ended up being great. So I'm being really lazy today because I want a baseline of a low activity day to see what it figures for me then can compare that to a work day tomorrow. Hopefully that will give me an idea of how much of my grooming activity the fitbit will account for.

Regular pedometers never seemed to track my steps very well but maybe this thing has a lot better motion detector. Now did you get the one that tracks your sleep too? You'll have to report.

Monday - Chop down a tree
In honor of President's day let's do as they did. Actually last summer I spent a lot of time chopping. We bought a horse and decided to build a corral. Well that meant removing a couple of maples and other volunteer growths. Getting the trees themselves out was dead easy, it was the stumps that was hard. Hatchet, axe, and finally a pulaski (pickaxe) all went into my work outs. I sweated and rested and sweated some more. It really was good exercise.
