Well I'm certainly frustrated! Gained .4 lbs this week and I really don't think it's from eating too much because I've been pretty good this week. That's gaining weight instead of losing 3 weeks in a row now. I've been getting in 4 walks, 3 of about an hour long, 1 of about 45 minutes, and have started some exercises in between, but as I've only done that twice I can't imagine that I've already build up any muscle from that (and I know muscle weighs more than fat). So, yes, definitely frustrated and hard to keep to the plan with those kinds of results. It's really making me knuckle down to get to that 50 lbs mark and then the last 10 lbs to my goal. Hope to have better news next week, because I'm not giving up after all the work I've done so far! I think that the lower you get, the harder it is to get rid of those last 10-15 lbs. Don't give up now!!!!!

I'm a yo-yo again. Up this week. But if I'd have checked in yesterday I'd have been even.

Ugh! I realize that I forgot to check-in last week. I was up another .6 lbs and I wonder if I have plateaued. Still hanging in there!!!

Wednesday Check In
It's cold in the mornings so I forget to weigh myself so I did it during the day and was fairly happy.
From what I remember reading I think plateaus are normal and perhaps even necessary to fight the yo yos so youse all are doing great!

Back down 1 lb. Couldn't walk this morning cause it was raining when I got up. Will have to try tonight.

Good news and bad news for me. I'm finally out of the "gaining weight" trend after 3 weeks, and lost again this week, 2 lbs. exactly. Had 4 walks during the last week, plus 1 session of exercises and curling twice. The bad news is that on Monday my ankle started hurting again. Almost turned around on my walk this morning but decided to continue and see if it would ease up, but definitely felt my ankle most of the way. I thought I was out of the woods as it had been going great for several months, so was not expecting this. So a new frustration!
I'm probably going to join a yoga class to see if that is beneficial, but not for another 2 weeks, as I've got a conference at the beginning of next week and off for another family visit the week after. Never done yoga before and not sure it's for me, but was asked if I was interested, so I'll try it out.
Out for dinner tomorrow night and then social events at the conference, so will try to be good! Wishing you ALL a good week!

Not much to report this week. Had a swell time at the beach. Ate a ton. Hope to make it to the farmer's market this weekend. Getting started back to good exercise this week finally. Maybe next week I will have more to report.

Doing a little better this week. Lost 2 lbs, but was up 1.6 lbs previously. Oh, well, better than nothing!!! I'm buckling down!!! Cooler and I feel more like cooking these days!!! Trying to exercise more. Wish I could walk!! On the road again!!!
