He still looks stunning to me with the Melvin, but I find that his clean shaven face more loveable at fist sight than Melvin,, and I just want him to have more fans. He will knock more strangers or even haters dead with his clean face than with Melvin. I am sure there would be more drooling over his beauty from Vietnamese press and he will gain more Vietnamese fans this time if he didn't have facial hair. melliemom, you sweet thing, here is your strategy for combating all those ugly malicious hater comments in every Les Miz article --- post a clean shaven pic of Adam!!
I've been holed up in our cabin up in the mountains (7800 ft) this week, sledding and snow fighting (I didn't get to snowboard, Aleks , 'cuz of the puppies, maybe next time...you up for doggie-sitting? ) Anyways, finally got to skim thru everything, what can I say about the Les Miz gate that everybody hasn't said already? Not a thing! Except this is PR gold for Les Miz and for Adam; actually, Adam is PR GOLD!! I mean you can't just plan this sort of thing, especially to the effects of a global scale.
The Vietnamese Glamberts are soooo cute and those Adam press photos are simply gorgeous! Looking forward to the show! I'll do hubby-sitting for you, kids and pups can tag along Ok, how about this: Are you up for trading places? You come here, to experience the exotic and esoteric of living in the developing country. My DH is hot, the kids are well-behaved, I promise ;D And I'll come to Phoenix and plan my blitzkrieg on Adam from there, I reckon it'll be easier. Lure Sauli out by some home-made Finnish meatballs, dress up as a plumber and invade ... Those must be the crayest three dots in the history of interpunction :4OMG: Meanwhile, your pups & kids & DH can take care of themselves, can't they?

The aesthetic appeal of Adam's beard might just be one of those matters of personal taste on which people of good will can disagree. Maybe I'm missing it but I don't see the people who love it or at least like/don't mind it constantly commenting on it and while I wouldn't dare to speak for anyone else, for me the constant complaining about the facial hair is old. I love the facial hair. I've always been partial to men with goatees or trimmed facial hair like Adam's. he'll do what he wants, it's his face.

Slate @slate . @adamlambert is right: movie musicals should be dubbed: slate.me/TzkIVd #LesMizSlate @slate Politics, culture, technology, business, news, and commentary. Procrastinate better. www.slate.comRecently, pop singer Adam Lambert unleashed a series of tweets critiquing the vocal performances in the film adaptation of Les Misérables. “Visually impressive with great emotional performances,” he said. “But the score suffered massively with great actors PRETENDING to be singers.” Russell Crowe, who plays brooding antagonist Inspector Javert—and who has received his fair share of vocal critique—responded with equanimity, tweeting that while he understood the singer’s view, director Tom Hooper wanted the live singing to be “raw and real.” It’s true that the movie’s singing is more “raw” than it might have been with more polished, professional singers in the cast. But the idea that such singing is more “real” reflects a stigma that seems out of place when discussing a genre as full of artifice as the movie musical. Lambert argued on Twitter that Hooper should have cast better singers, but there’s another method that has worked brilliantly in the past and should not be frowned upon: Movie musicals should go back to letting its stars act, while dubbing the songs with trained vocalists. more..
[/b] I don't think this is what Adam said. Adam said since the director chose these great actors then the singing should be done in the studio (by these actors), and the studio can put some autotune, etc to make them sound better than singing live.

The constant complaining about Melvin, esp on Twitter- I've gotten to the point where I finally had to unfollow some people, cause it has just become excessive and beyond irritating. How would one feel if others constantly criticized the way you chose to wear your hair? After Divas, I saw several tweets from females who hadn't seen Adam for a while and they commented on how hot he looked with the goatee. The scruffy facial hair is in with a lot of men right now. And besides, Sauli has had the same facial hair style for a while now. I have a strong feeling that Sauli may be the reason he still has Melvin cause Sauli likes it.
