As for Adam and his sound problems, it has been mentioned many times that he would be much harder to do sound for than most other singers because of his range and power and the fact that he is such a perfectionist. Also the movement of his jaw while hitting those notes tends to dislodge his earpieces. I had not heard the one about jaw movement affecting the buds. thanks . Guess you can't glue the buds in!!. ;D He likes talking.... putting in and out!! Guess fans ..err ME...will have to live with the distraction. |

Also the movement of his jaw while hitting those notes tends to dislodge his earpieces. I don't recall Adam having very many problems with sound during his singing with Queen. I would think he has invested in a real good custom made pair of earplugs. Hopefully Adam gets a good sound guy but, like you said, with his range and power it just makes it hard to get the right balance. |

Is it crazy to suggest putting some of that double-sided tape that sticks to skin on the back of his ear monitors? Even if that worked, though, I guess the tape would make the earpieces more difficult to remove if he really needed to take them out on stage. ETA: Looks like we were thinking along the same lines, stampsgal. |

Do you think we should communicate with Shosh about the sound issue so they can investigate? Maybe Adam and the band don't realize the issue at all because they can't hear what we hear.

I've had to miss the whole show, thanks to work!!me too, but when I just now wanted to send a link of NCOI to my boss as proof I should have had my lunch time later at 13:30 (which would not have been very smart, knowing Adam is always late and cannot be contained into lunch hours) I deleted it just in time ... if they do not understand, don't try to make them :-/ .... my boss would never understand anyway, but she is nice ... :  It never really hurt me to watch Adam later when all the great Glamberts have saved the performances for as long as internet lives ... Adam was well aware of the sound issues. The whole band was. One look at their faces tells you that. And right before Trespassing, Adam is trying to do a final fix. A less than stellar band and singer would have been in big trouble. But he and they pushed thru it!  |
