A cultural point that you might be interested in. In Vietnam the traditional holidays are mostly based on lunar calendar. Out New Year day is called Tet which is the first day of the lunar calendar. A typical Tet tradition is people visit each other's house, you can visit the house of your neighbors, or relatives, your colleagues, your friends, your bosses. The first visitor to a house is very important, because he is supposed bring luck, wealth, health, or happiness to that family or not. This first visit is literally referred to as "ground breaking". Superstitious people believing this often make an appointment with the right person, either from their neighbors, friends or relatives, to be the first visitor to their house. How do they choose the right person? They will base on the year of birth, the signs, the personality, what the visitor represents for, and/or whatever they can think of.
If there is no one visiting a house, it can indicate a whole boring year.
Many times traditional beliefs based on lunar calendar are extended to solar calendar. That is why you may find in the translation of Adam articles the word "breaking ground" "ground breaking". They are saying that Adam is the first visitor to come to Vietnam, and he represents overseas music, and as such they hope there will be a lot more overseas bands/artists coming to Vietnam during the year, and that is exciting.
ETA: they didn't associate Aurea or the Korean singer with "ground breaking" though.

I have Google TV which has similar features, although I have not compared it with Apple TV. Also, just about any DVD or Blu-Ray player or AV receiver which is advertised as "internet ready" or having wifi capabilities can also play YouTubes. I've watched YouTubes with the features on my Sony Blu-ray player although I find it frustrating because the search feature is limited in the number of characters it will take. So, I find myself mostly hooking my laptop to my TV using a 25' HDMI cable so that I have full and easy control over YouTube videos. I also do this for watching live streams and even video files played through Windows Media Player. You can also use game devices (Wii, XBox, etc) to move web to TV screen. I got a new Blu-ray player for Christmas -- my parents asked why I wanted another DVD player, and I replied "wifi"! One of the first things I did was hook it up to my internet and watch a bunch of Adam videos on my big TV -- YAY!!!

And, as you pointed out, it's interesting that only Adam was associated with "breaking ground" and not the other two singers, although they all performed at the same concert, and Adam came last!!

But could it be because Adam is American. Lots of history between VN and the US. As someone here pointed out the other day, this concert has helped me to see VN as a place and not a war!
