agree with cassie's analysis agree with alek too. Q ~ IMO Adam should not be allowed to play here unless he is a member, and that includes his nom for favorite performance. alek Good idea to make him an honorary member, after all, this site is all about him. also wonder what name Adam would choose and what avi? I really think someone in his glamily is a member or at least serious lurker here, because it is obvious to me that Adam knows exactly what goes on here. It is very interesting that some of Adam's tweets are so spot on to what is being discussed on this board. Also, some of you old timers may remember that Dadbert was a member of PF way back when........... Was Eber a member of PF? I remember he posted on TWOP way back when (I haven't been there in ages) but don't remember him on PF. But now I'm not sure! Pretty sure he was, anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

“I’m a firm believer that life doesn’t just happen to you”, Lambert says. “We are all on a journey that we have the ability to affect and change. Sometimes we have to trespass out of our comfort zone in order to evolve. Trespassing was written about the push and pull that we all go through on our quest for happiness, allowing the listener to find their own balance within my world.” [/IMG]
I love this quote from the concert promo ladymaserati posted. I wish I had been this wise at Adam's age. But I started to figure it out in the last decade (or two...) and have made some big choices choosing growth over comfort. But it's not easy and we all have our own limitations and inherent flaws to contend with. I've been posting too much again -- back to my RL work-in-progress before it all falls apart from neglect. ETA: In recent interviews, Adam sounds confident about his career and its longevity and I really don't worry about it for him. I have no doubt of his long-term success. He really is blessed with so much but he also is able to appreciate that and use it respectfully and productively. It's quite awe-inspiring.

Just finished reading all of yesterday's thread. Very surprised that more Trespassing songs were not included in the fave video contest. Does that mean we don't love those performances? I think not. There are so many good ones out there, I especially enjoyed the one from Tokoyo that was posted, and the early morning Shady. Almost every one of Adam's radio appearances with the accoustic performances could be included, Adam is such a master and great singer.
I think that we all just love the ones that helped us fall in love with Adam, the oldies but goodies.
Some that I am surprised were not posted:
Stairbert from Milwalkee, GNT IIHY from Ellen and Oprah Feelin Good from AI8 Beth/Kiss from AI8 Starlight from GMA (it has already been mentioned) Heaven on Our Mind (can't remember where he performed this, on a telethon) NCOE from Jimmy Kimmel Trespassing from NewNowNext Awards show WWFM from AI Season 9
just to name a few

Albiku, you have seen the movie, right? I haven't yet. So, if you want to send a polite, articulate email kindly informing him of Adam's pedigree and the fact that he actually said some very nice things about the movie and recommended it, I say "Go for it, girl." Sorry, I didn't see this, Cassie! Yes, I saw the movie. And I would totally write an e-mail if I wasn't so self-conscious about my English. [/IMG] I could try, but it's so difficult to find the words when English isn't your first language... And it's even more difficult when you're trying to write formal. Okay, maybe I'll try anyway. lol : I don't think he'll read it, though.
Ever since you join this board, I have been extremely impressed with you knowledge of written English. If I didn't know Spanish was your first language, I never would have thought you were not a native English speaker. This is coming from someone who has been trying to learn your first language for the better part of a decade. I hope you write that letter because I know from reading your always intelligent posts that you are the right person for the job.

Cameron explained: "Good singers could not have given these performances on screen.hmmm.....so Cameron agrees that the film's actors are not good singers?? LMAO! This statement made it clear that acting was what they were after and not singing. Adam is spot on. Cameron is known here as the person who brought Leah Salonga to the world stage via Ms. Saigon. He knows what singing is all about. I guess he is now defensive because there is more money to be made in Hollywood and he can't shoot himself for agreeing to showcase the actors performing in the show. Moving on...

Amazing, right? Since I live down the street in Seattle, I would love for Adam to visit...as long as he doesn't perform at the Tacoma Dome. I know all the big acts usually go there, but the sound is horrible and it's pretty run down. On the other hand, if he is there I would certainly go -- and then we could all stalk follow to see what bars he goes to! I know where he went in Seattle.
