GLAAD@glaadJust announced: Nominees for 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards. And the nominees are... glaad.org/mediaawards #glaadawards #LGBT Congratulations Adam Lambert!!! GLAAD Media Awards Nominee for Outstanding Music Artist!! Glaad  he got a nomination. Pretty sure it is Frank Ocean's year and he will win. But my vote goes to ADAM. Obviously my vote goes to Adam as well....and I do not get the appeal or support of Frank Ocean at all. However, it would not be anything to be angry about if Rufus Wainwright one this. Rufus has been out forever, and is an extraordinarily talented songwriter even though his singing talent does not approach Adam's. I said a few days ago that I would love to see Adam cover something of Rufus's. |

So I spammed the thread to smithereens..sorry. I've never heard any of these songs on radio before and it was breathtaking. And poo..after listening for tad longer, I went to bed. Sure enough, after I logged off, Shady and NCOE were played...  Today is a new day and I plan on getting to hear more Adam. I will be interested in how this nomination plays out. If Glaad is truly about advocacy for the LGBT community, Adam wins hands down. But if Glaad is more interested in commercial appeal..that says a lot about how far Glaad has not come IMO.
And I am not hanging onto an 'Adam must win' meme..and I have nothing against Frank Ocean or the other candidates. It's all such political garbage sometimes..these awards shows. Jodie Foster nailed it.
In the last few days I am hearing actors saying they may leave acting as their families and privacy are more important to them. Interesting times as people evaluate their priorities.

Hoppers was trying to come up with something pornalicious but she was in a place that doing that would be a no-no. So on we went with testifying on her behalf and choosing judges if her sweet cuddly dancing cuties ever came into question. Came up with a mighty fine judge too, if I must say so myself.. ;D ;D Think Energy Radio can feel all the squishing going on..?? Might just think it's indigestion..  ETA: I don't twit..does anyone know if Energy is getting a WWL from people loving Adam's music??? I hope so. This is huge. Please twit away! |
