The links don't open in new tabs :( It is on my fix list to make a left click work but NOT happening today. __ Also on my list: Fixing graphic display on alternate themes - today. Writing a "how to guide" - next weekend. I need to complete all the basic changes first. Birthdays listed on footer - by the end of the month but I will include in the opening post until this is done. Leave me signed on -- that will be a request to Proboards. I will keep you posted. __ The thread page numbers are at the top of the viewing frame -- floating. I am not sure what issue people are having but they should appear when you scroll up or down. You can now choose to hide your birthday, reveal your birthday day without the year or make the whole thing public. And if you put in a fake date when you registered, you can correct it on your profile. There also is a new, very powerful SEARCH function -- check it out. |

Thanks for the answers! holst, good idea to try (remember F-word, remember f-word...) But composing in the reply won't let me see what happens on the board in the meantime. Have to stick with short ones for now which leaves a lot of empty space to scroll over for all of you - and less annoying text. BTW When I refresh I get the top of the page - was it like that before? Or do I just notice it because I cannot use the side bar and need to stimulate my mouse so much more than before?

I have a habit of composing a longer post in a separate text file. Now I notice that when I copy the text from there and paste it to the reply box the result is not what I see there having the visual on. :( If you do this in a word processing program like MS Word, you have to post it in the BBCode panel OR you will get a mess. If you want to post it into VISUAL, use a plain text editor like MS Wordpad that does not include formatting code. Just like on the old version, formatting from a word processing program will not work here. I find that it is really easy to format text in this version on VISUAL. |

I have tried copying stuff from twitter and when I bring it over I end up with a blank text box! :( Yes, copy and paste do work. Using VISUAL tab:
