I already wished this wish several threads ago...thought I was alone. to dream even bigger, I'm hoping he performs Last Dance w/adam. come on Nile, make it happen! Me too! first time I heard about the benefit and the fact that Nile placed Lets Dance right after Shady on his post about the gala I was in my little dream world where things come true I think Nile does this benefit every year and Bowie has never come. Not counting on it this time either. But Nile and Sam and Adam doing Shady? That will be EPIC!!

The whole American Inauguration thing every four years is so fascinating from a Canadian viewpoint cause there's NOTHING that happens here when there's a federal election. ZERO. ZILCH. If there's a new Prime Minister elected, there might be a dinner for him in some obscure building in Ottawa. Or maybe the new PM just wanders into his new office and sticks a picture of his wife and kids on his predecessor's desk. I dunno. Lol! Speaking as one who lives in the grey, bureaucratic town where the parliament is...I agree with you. Canada, I love it. Heck, we can just walk right up to the parliament building and (pretty much) just pop our heads in the prime ministers office if we want to. (that's an exaggeration but not by much.)

Work it girl! I have to admit I stared on this gif for about few minutes. The way she walked, it's amazing she didn't stumble upon her own legs. If it was me I probably already fell

HaHa - but yours is a damp cold... and their's is probably a dry cold... Seriously, I remember a January trip from NC (mid 30's and rainy) to Wyoming (6 degrees), and Wyoming was more comfortable. But I wouldn't trade places with the brave Canadians!

Seriously, the ear monitor thing now appears to be ridiculous dramatics -- maybe she was singing along for those nearby?. Still like the rendition though..... I loved it - and I think there are many reasons an artist may choose to lipsynch a song. Could be having voice problems - we don't know. I don't think taking out an ear monitor is ridiculous dramatics, but whatever. She's still my girl. I thought she was great ...wouldn't you need an ear piece simply to know where the band is even if you lip synch? For such an epic event as the Inauguration I'd rather it went smoothly. I always get nervous for a singer , especially in the cold. And I thought JayZ looked so dapper !!

Our Canadian Atopians how cold can it get in some parts of your beautiful country? It is 20 degrees here where I live and Dayum it is cold...goes right through my bones!! There is a reason that an estimated 75% of us live within 160 km. of the U.S. border. On the west coast we have much milder winters than other parts of Canada. In British Columbia we have rain forests, a semi-arid desert region, mountain ranges, a wine region and huge stretches of coast line. Where I live we can grow certain types of palm trees and rarely get snow. Right now it is 5 C./ 42 F. with sun breaking through a slight fog. The country is so vast and varied that every type of weather is imaginable at any given time. LOL.... this is confirmed by Avari's post above. The difference between -20F and 42F is staggering. So happy to be out west!
