SusieFierce ITA --- even if you think you know what Nile has done, his book is surprising and definitely worth reading. I am so glad that I read it.

Susie Fierce: Thanks for the link to Nile's blog. He is so interesting and open. And it's obvious he is smitten with Adam. Have to say, Adam has had some pretty fabulous mentors this past year. And being the quick study he is, Adam will take it all in... Also, I kept the link open to listen to Nile's playlist. It's a great collection of songs by big stars Nile has produced - and right there in the middle is Shady. The picture and caption you mentioned, and being included in the playlist - pretty cool. If you haven't read Nile's book yet, I highly, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend it. Until you do, it's hard to even wrap your brain around how many HUGE hits/artists/musical trends he's been instrumental in (sorry about the pun) in the past 40 years. The guy is a monster in the industry. His recognition (adoration) of Adam is as amazing as Brian and Roger's IMO. I read a quote once that went something like, "The prophetess is rarely recognized in her own home." Meaning, if you're too close to someone, you don't always recognize their fabulousness. I think Adam suffers a bit from this in the current industry. They don't even process the half of how good he is. I also think that's why he is so revered among people with a few years behind them. They GET it. The fact that legends such as Brian, Roger, Nile, Slash, Meatloaf (current sanity, notwithstanding), who have seen in ALL over the years, recognize what a phenom he is – that's MAJOR. He IS the real deal and the rest of the world will figure it out. When I feel a little 'put out' because of a slight I feel 'a music exec. or radio guy' and other artists give Adam ...I just remember how much the legends you mention SusieFierce love, appreciate, support, and GET Adam!!

Adam himself is working his ass off, but it has not been enough. Something else needs to happen, be it radio, be it TV, IDK... TP is not being recognized by the Grammys? REALLY???? How is this even possible? So much mediocre nonsense (IMO) is being touted as "art"...HOW COME???

I would love to see Adam collaborate on a song with Slash this time...along with Niles, Max Martin, and maybe Justin Hawkins again. Of course, it goes without saying, I would be screaming crazy happy if Adam also worked with Brian/Roger and Bowie!! And, while I'm dreaming, let me add Mick Jagger, too! LOL...dream Big or not at all! 8-)
ETA: Heck I might as well keep going...K D Lang, George Michael, and Prince would be nice, too! :D

Not the same jacket as DIVAS. This one has color blocking and is newer. DIVAS is a fine plaid (probably has a proper name.) IMO, not even close. While these pants might be a separate, they definitely match one of the textures (the smoothest one) in the color blocking of the jacket. So I would say they are meant to go together.

I read that there was a short snippet (only about 5 seconds) of Adam singing "Mad world" in a German TV show called "The ultimate chart show - the greatest cover hits of all time" on Friday night. Unfortunately I tuned in the show later and didn't tape it, so I missed it. So far I didn't find any video of it in the internet and the show won't be repeated! (This TV station repeats every show but of course NOT this one! Grrr!)
