the thread is dead probably, but I just caught up and have to ask: WHY is the assumption of drunk tweeting? Just because he was honest? Or because he was not kissing fetus' ass like everyone else was doing out the fear to alienate the 8 million little girls on Twitter? I can't comment on Bieber's performance as I had him on mute.... but did he ever have good vocals? I have only about 40 secs under my belt of listening to him so it's hard to judge...
the Perez interview is awesome! Adam was so comfortable... I was thinking "THAT IS HOW HE SOUNDS TALKING TO HIS FRIENDS"... - I might be wrong of course....

[shrug] Because usually if he can't say something nice, Adam doesn't say anything at all. Unless the filter comes unglued, and he's freely admitted to drunk tweeting in a recent interview. Also (and yep I'm projecting), I would guess that a sober Adam wouldn't stomp on a 16 year old kid who's probably pretty disappointed today. To hell with the Biebs twitter fans. Adam's been the boy who didn't win. No need to rub salt into the wounds of a teen who he personally knows, and who seems to truly like him. Just saying and YMMV. |

pffft. my candid thoughts on ass kissing redacted out of fear for my safety and my pet's. I will say that
- for some reason, I find Usher and Bieber together very creepy. can't explain it. maybe it's U's surgically attached sunglasses.
- the Cheeks vid made a lousy day much, much better - I watched it 3 times - very palate cleansing. i'm def. beginning to see the appeal of Brad as boyfriend. Decorative and wicked smart.
ETA (just cause):
- And what the hell with Cee Lo in the plushy costume and puppets! I believe The Man just wanted to take his power - cause in the video he's a cool dude.
-Though I lack her compassion, I think Hoppers makes a good pt. I think it's the dangers of twitter and impulse - whether it's a drink or two - or just being distracted. (I've deleted about 30 draft emails today b/c I am not in my happy place but I really really wanted to hit send a couple of times).

I think it's the dangers of twitter and impulse - whether it's a drink or two - or just being distracted. (I've deleted about 30 draft emails today b/c I am not in my happy place but I really really wanted to hit send a couple of times). [grimaces] I won't tell you how many drafts I typically discard for even garden-variety e-mails before hitting send! And yes, I have also utilized the "RECALL" feature numerous times on Outlook five minutes after I've hit "send while pissy". Twitter doesn't give you that option. Well, it sort of does in that you can delete your posts and rewrite...hopefully before anyone's seen them. However, THAT doesn't happen in Adamland! Adam could delete a post a milisecond after hitting "Tweet" and it would still have been screencapped and RT'ed around the world before the corrected tweet was typed. Once he types something, its typed. All he can do is followup to the best direction possible. Which, IMO, is what he did. ETA: [looks up] Hey! [waves] ETA2: Case in point - how many "Edited to Add" comments do I have in my last 10 posts??!!!! ;D |

He is capable of a thoughtless tweet without being drunk. And then he is capable of looking at his thoughtless, though honest, tweet and making it right. No hiding for me. |
