My son just recently graduated from Berklee School of Music and he knows how much I love Adam. He loves Adam's voice but he won't listen to him because he doesn't care for the band. He doesn't think they are anywhere near the caliber of musicians that Adam needs to surround himself with. He pointed out current musicians that college students love such as the band for Grace Potter and the Nocturnals and Muse. He thinks Adam's musicians are very below average. He likes the words that Adam writes but thinks he needs help with the musical scores. He thinks he should work with musicians like Muse and perform powerful music like them, not the light pop stuff. But we all know how Adam defends his band choices, hopefully it won't hurt him to a point where he can't have all the success his amazing voice deserves. My son did say he'd go see him if he toured in the states with Queen; thought their music suited his voice much better. Many share the opinion of your son. Smart kid. Wow, congrats to you and your son. Berklee! Awesome!

The songs on Trespassing that turned out to be my favorites were the bonus songs: Map, Runnin, Take Back, Nirvana, Underneath, (isn't there one more? can't remember).

My son did say he'd go see him if he toured in the states with Queen; thought their music suited his voice much better. BUT..Adam likes the light pop stuff! It certainly won't appeal to everyone. And perhaps #3 will be different - he seems to have hinted that it might be. The band wasn't on either album and there are some songs on Trespassing that I don't consider light pop stuff. I agree with thebean's son. I have been a fan from the first, enjoyed GNT, have seen Adam four times during that tour. I admire Adam for promoting friends and creating his glamily. I am very fond of Tommy. Having said that, the group as a whole is nowhere near the level he needs to support his talent. He is the whole show, he can command the stage. I also know that Adam loves the light/pop sound, but his voice and presence are much bigger than that. With the right material and sound he would have greater success. Perhaps he is content at this level and will continue to evolve at his own pace. As his fan, I support and enjoy him as he is. Even if he never has that "superstar" status his talent assures him longevity.

Is it Can't Let You Go?? a guess Can't Let You Go was on the first album, Underneath was on regular TP - the one bonus that is missing is By The Rules
