Speculation may be a "waste of time", but it is kind of fun. Others might say spending hours a day on a fan site is a waste of time too. tdb Gosh, I have not been considered naive in years. Thank you! I long for innocence. BTW, the dancers can stay  Ha, see, double standard (dancers.) And to hell with those people who think spending time on a fan site is a waste of time, cause if that's the case, the last 4 years of my life have been wasted. PS: If it helps, I DO miss Isaac. PSS: Innocence is overrated. |

The songs on Trespassing that turned out to be my favorites were the bonus songs: Map, Runnin, Take Back, Nirvana, Underneath, (isn't there one more? can't remember). Is it Can't Let You Go?? a guess No, you are thinking FYE bonus track. Most excellent, btw. The other bonus on Trespassing UK was that reggae ish one. (senior moment here) eta: By the Rules. Thanks belle! I seem to like the bonus tracks a lot more than some of the regular tracks: Voodoo, Masterplan, DTRH, Map are favorites. |

I really love Adam's band - they seem to be such wonderful, funny and warmhearted persons. But if it comes to skills they are unable to hold a candle to Adam. I know some musicians (guitarists, drummers and singers) and the consensus was, that Adam's band is technically not that good, not more than average. Although I love their chemistry on stage I miss a musical instrument virtuoso.  |

I could never leave Underneath out. It is Adam. I know it wasn't a bonus. It took me months to listen to Underneath without crying. One of the most emotional songs ever by an entertainer, especially because of the personal and honest aspect (and he didn't even write it).

BUT..Adam likes the light pop stuff! It certainly won't appeal to everyone. And perhaps #3 will be different - he seems to have hinted that it might be. The band wasn't on either album and there are some songs on Trespassing that I don't consider light pop stuff. I agree with thebean's son. I have been a fan from the first, enjoyed GNT, have seen Adam four times during that tour. I admire Adam for promoting friends and creating his glamily. I am very fond of Tommy. Having said that, the group as a whole is nowhere near the level he needs to support his talent. He is the whole show, he can command the stage. I also know that Adam loves the light/pop sound, but his voice and presence are much bigger than that. With the right material and sound he would have greater success. Perhaps he is content at this level and will continue to evolve at his own pace. As his fan, I support and enjoy him as he is. Even if he never has that "superstar" status his talent assures him longevity. I don't think he's content. He said he wants more. But what I meant was his band is not on either album so feeling the band is not up to snuff is not a reason to not listen to FYE or Trespassing. |
