geezlouise, there are a lot of brilliant professional musicians out there - believe me. I don't think that he needs musicians of the same caliber than he is. But I think that musicians that are more than average (I feel bad saying this about the glamily, but that's the way I feel) would help him to take his live shows to another level. Of course it is already wonderful - but it could be much better....  Of course there are brilliant professional musicians out there. Do they have the right look for his band? Are they willing to perform his genre of music? Will they want to work with him? Would they be content being musicians for hire and not part of something permanent? I'm not saying better musicians are not out there, I'm just being realistic about Adams place in the industry at this moment, and putting monetary availability and his wants into focus. |
