Thanks, Betty, for the great recap! It sounds like so much fun and even an unpleasant ferry ride was worth it! So much fun to meet other Glamfans and talk, talk, talk. Once is never enough!!

Joy sums it up perfectly. That comes through clearly from him and the fans. What a gift. And I too hope Adam knows how much he is cared about. I sometimes wonder about his view where he is, for it has to be somewhat different from his vantage point. But what truly I hope he sees is that his fans aren't just blindly idolizing him but that they truly care about him. We may look like a bunch of crazy people with nothing better to do than follow a celebrity around but it is so much better than that. He has made it more than that. He has made it personal, by sharing so much of himself. When you let the world in, it allows them to care for the real person. I hope he feels that. YES, YES, YES. You always know how to put my feelings into words. I wish I could have been a big girl when it came to the concert in Finland. I cried when we couldn't get Ustream. In fact I pouted most of the day. I actually surprised myself with the kind of person I am. I wish I could have thought magnanimous thoughts like you Kay. You are so great to have around. You bring me back to being a better person. |

BETTY Wonderful words ...Wonderful time...Happy for you and your DH. Such a journey in Adam land... creating heartfelt memories. As with you I have not been close to concerts to share in many bonding experiences ...only in Vancouver and London. Other spots did not work out to see people. I hold those memories in my heart and mind. 4everadam -- still can picture your face and sharing our table conversations in Vancouver...I am listening to energy as per your call out. I often just let it play---no sound on--- when I leave my computer, and turn it on again when I return. I appreciate their Adam effort!! It stops playing at some point..or they are off air..not sure which. Why not listen to a station that actually plays Adam! tunein.com/radio/Energy-Music-Radio-s188621/ This link on my favorites works for me, the other does not...just in case others have trouble getting it to play. |

Betty, I loved your recap. I also could relate to your crying when you had to leave Helsinki. At my first get together with Atops people at Mayumi's I spent two days hugging everyone. I never hugged so many women in my life, but I felt so close to all of them. There wasn't one person that I didn't love by the time we went home. I think loving Adam only attracts people who are compatible. It is such a trip to have so much in common with others around the world that feel exactly like you do about an incredible singer.

I was listening to Energy radio and the DJ was saying such marvelous things abut Adam. Turns out it was a commercial for the Aura magazine...golly. Commercial or not, I did like the words....he radiates positive energy, he inspires his fans.
They fit well with today's thread and with Betty's recap!

Aww Betty, such a wonderful recap. I can still feel the excitement in the air, many days after the concert. Glad you enjoyed the concert and the company you kept.

Betty  I miss you too and all the other wonderful Atoppers I met last week. Let 's hope that Adam will soon have another gig in Helsinki so that we all can meet again. And hopefully this time in summer time, when Helsinki is a much more enjoyable place. Adam has never been here during summer time, so it's very much possible that it will happen....soon.... maybe already this summer!!!  . (Girl can always dream  ). And next time we'll do our utmost to get Alexandra and Teddybear with us too.
