Btw, was that Soundcheck soundcloud on the front page already commented on? Have you all heard it, it's awesome!! I am so, so late:)
I think I am slowly but surely relocating myself to the group of fans who used to majorly piss me off by the way, the ones who think Adam's voice needs no music. Oh, that soundcheck! It's like with music, his voice is this phenomenal train swooshing on the railroad, unstoppable, fast and powerful, conquering the landscape... but it still has to follow predefined tracks and since it sounds so wonderful, it does not even occur to you it can sound better, until you hear it a cappella.
Without music, it turns into this crazy, fantasy-land flying train, free and wild and beautiful! Magic carpets need no tracks:) He can be Aladin in Austria, btw. Of course, HE thought there was something wrong with it. And then he growled: "My voice is REAL TIRED", and I choked on my juice, suffice it to say. Spine, meet the tingles:)))

I really am not a weepy person, but you guys.....

 adventures in helsinki  pt twa 

 before i start ,can i say how sad it was to hear the news today ,i was incredibly fortunate enough to meet mayumi and rene @queenbert ,at the party ,wonderfull people and a huge part of this amazing fandom that has brought so many of us together .

 so where was i ,

aye the hotel ,the one that wasnae in helsinki ,it was in haaga  ,adam has this inability to measure time ,the fins seem to have  an inability to measure distance .

  the security guard said it was aboot 3 k,s frae helsinki ,.the taxi driver said aboot 10k,s it wus 7k,s ,an am a miles person so none of this meant owt tae me ,an TILLY,S goin ,how the fuck u manage this linda (cos lilly,s the cat),an she,s cursin sayin she will book the hale trip hersel  the nxt time ,cos ah canna be trusted tae look after ma ain passport  .

 so we eventually ,arrives at the hotel ,which was quite a gid yen by the way ,even if it wis in the wrang toon,
then ah fishes in ma case to bring oot ma new toy ,wis gonna buy an ipod (maybe it wis an ipad) ah dinna ken a lot aboot these things 
but being a miserable scot ,ah went fishin on ebay, an i gits this real bargain ,an android tablet for 40.00 quid 

 yer rite, it wis  it wis crap, ah could git ont net ,but couldna post onything ,but now its aboot 1.00 a,m an ah go check into atop 

an SOPHIEB  has left the contact arrangements for the nxt day 

we (well tilly did) fired off a text to confirm we had arrived and would meet  the morn, an thank the universe we,d grabbed a,bottle  o vody oot the duty free ,cos a destresser wis def needed at this point (not by me ye ken ,twas that tilly who wis gittin a bit cross lookin at this point)
