While it's quiet, would someone be kind enough to point me to a video of Adam and the Vajajays when he is sandwiched between them. There was a great photo posted on here but can't remember which show. Have a feeling it might have been Helsinki (which I saw live but didn't register this moment, if it was!!) thanks. Helsinki during the band intro -- HONEY COMB!

I personally think it takes years of specialized training to get styled this way! and I am talking about the stylist's outfit... Adam, on the other hand, is kinda bland looking here...just a skirt-layer on top of everything...lame I say... Actually, grunge is making a comeback in men's fashion, so the stylist's outfit (for better or worse) is fashionable. Bill Cunningham of the NY Times talks about the return of grunge at about 1:20 in the video below. I've got to admit that this isn't my favorite look for men -- the clothes look like they came out of a rag bag. But, to each his own. ETA: Not sure why the video didn't show up. I can see it in the "Edit Post" window, but not here. Oh well. here is the link: www.nytimes.com/video/2013/03/29/fashion/100000002146109/bill-cunningham-the-new-man.htmlThanks for the video. I get fashion that is experimental, or makes a specific point, even if it is a contrary one. I get the jumpsuit look on Adam, really do. Of course a jumpsuit is not elegant, duh. Would you expect it on a show called Divas, of course not. In the situation it was a totally unexpected turn for Adam. Adam put himself out there with this outfit, he did something totally brave and that is very much Adam. He did not stay in the box of typical. And I think it is defining Adam to narrow, if we think he should limit himself to rocker outfits and suits on stage. The dragon jacket is extreme, the jump suit is extreme. The same person in the same show wearing them, is a mind fuck, which is good. I don't want to see Adam narrow it down, to conform. I like that he is daring and a jumpsuit on this kind on a award/celebration show, is wild, but in a good way. It would be different, if Adam had worn that the whole time, obviously that would not work, but he only put it on very briefly and to contrast it with all the rest. It was unexpected and I liked that. And he opened himself up to critique, which he is even getting here. He allows that to happen. Like I said a few years ago. The great thing about Adam is that somebody like Joan Rivers cannot get to him, and she knows it.
So if this stylist has something to do with that, good for him.
Still think his own style is a total disaster, but perhaps I just don't get that one. Must be my limitation, but I seriously don't understand that one. What is experimental about this? There are tons of people dressed like that all over LA and they do it unintentionally. He contrasts in style with his client in order to maximize attention on the two of them? He wants to make sure nobody touches him? Sorry, it is not working for me, because I don't get whom he tries to impress or offend. It just says, my life is a mess and from reading his bio, that does not seem to be the case. So, who knows what he meant to say to the public. It's only missing the whiskey bottle and the collection hat, imo. So, clearly I don't get it. Oh well, in fashion this is not a first for me.
