Thanks! Off to drink some. ** On other subjects -- did we know that Adam was going to be in an AT&T Commercial and PSA for the Trever Project? The press release was on the 2nd but I did not read it until today. Wut - there's other topics today? [grins] Nah. P-)

No celebrity, including Adam, owes their "fandom" answers about their personal lives. When Adam and Sauli made the decision to end their relationship and how they decided to handle that decision is their business and no one else, regardless of how invested some people might feel in that relationship. I don't think Adam causes anxiety in the fandom, people too invested in the relationship of Adam and his boyfriend cause their own anxiety by projecting their hopes, dreams, fears and all manner of feeling and insecurity onto Adam. As for Twitter, well I think Adam is entitled to block anyone he chooses and I think the ones he ultimately blocked were being obnoxious and rude. Adam SHOULD put his own needs and well-being before his fandom. At the end of the day Adam can only control his own happiness and it's up to each fan to do the same for themselves and Adam's state of relationship should have no bearing on that happiness. All of this is just my opinion and not meant to antagonize anyone who might feel differently. I agree with this and Albiku's post. It's Adam's life ,we are fans ... Adam owes us nothing in relationship to his private life.

From this article: news.yahoo.com/momentum-building-happen-productions-053031279.htmlExcerpt: Since the beginning of 2013, Make It Happen Productions has been running full steam ahead. They inked a new account with D Agency Creative, produced the well-received Juno Awards promotional campaigns and are looking forward to working with Adam Lambert on a new AT&T campaign for the Trevor Project later this month.
As they have in the past, for such successful series’ as ‘Nip Tuck’, ‘The Shield’ and most recently ‘Real Music Live’, MIHP will produce the promotional campaign to launch the new series, which is set to debut in spring of this year on the Discovery Channel.

He's no weakling, mind you, but his somewhat Type B helps smooth out my uber-Type A when I'm being a bonehead ass. That said, there's been some really huge rocks in our marriage that we only survived out of sheer determination not to have to tell our families that we divorced. Particularly during a time when he was so damn frustrated that my career was going well and his wasn't. I get it."
I've always seen both Sauli and Adam as type A personalities who are hard-working, driven and ambitious--with sunny personalities! I do think that the end of the relationship coinciding with Sauli's new show taking off shows that right now their lives are just going in different directions. Who knows what will happen in the future? I'm sure they still love one another, but two stubborn independent creative people like they are who live in the public eye and are gay on top of it...it's not too surprising they had issues in spite of the love they obviously share. We'll never really know, of course. I just hope people aren't too hard on them--no one knows what really happened except them and they have to live however is best for them--not us.

A couple of times I've lost the floating page numbers, but so far they've always come back. Incidentally, I tried to quote rihannsu's post twice by clicking on Quote in the upper right-hand corner of the post, and when the reply box came up, the quote wasn't there. I ended up just copying and pasting and using the Quote icon on the reply window. I guess there are a few wonky things going on with the board today.

WE KNOW NOTHING... not of the personalities involved, not of the circumstances involved... [waves drink; grins] Of course we don't! That's why I called it "relationship armchair quarterbacking" For those of you who aren't familiar with American sports, the term "armchair quarterbacking" refers to guys who sit on their couch at home yelling at the TV during football games assuming that they know better than the guys actually on the field. I used the term ironically so I could pontificate on the proverbial soapbox to allevate my sadz. And THAT phrase probably signals that I should meander back to RL.

One of our very wise people on Atopia has a quote from Dr Seuss at the bottom of each of her posts that I have been reminding myself of all evening "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened".
I'm sure that both their lives have been enriched by the past two years, and I hope they've each gained a life-long friend who understands them.
But then...why does my heart still hurt a bit for them?

When we are all sad and need to think about a topic it is quiet on Atop. But it is good to see that when someone writes plain BS everyone rallies to show that person is in the wrong place here. Thanks to all who have spared me to come up with a reply.
