It's not as deep as you all are taking it. I was talking about my perception of the 'feel' of the two albums. As I said, have at my post. I am happy to have people disagree or agree.. What I do care about is that we honor one another's opinions, which I do. Nobody is right or wrong..it's all perception. I like hearing viewpoints..but I'm not a punching bag.  Don't be sad, bb! ![]() I agree, all opinions should be honoured and they are, I think, most of the time? If you feel differently, here, have a sip of my gin and tonic ![]() It works for me ![]() |

I have finally given in and decided to try to get to the San Diego concert. Making a little trip - San Francisco, LA, San Diego. I'm wondering if anyone has a spare ticket to sell - would like Floor 3 or 4 ideally. Have looked on StubHub and I would have to buy a pair of tickets (just for me!) and have the choice of only those with instant download as they won't send to the UK. Thought about it for so long - gonna do it!  I am very happy for you!!! And everyone else going, but especially you - making it all the way from UK:))) You go, girl!!!  Awww - thank you, Aleks! |

I NEVER LISTEN TO THE LIVE VERSIONS UNLESS IT IS A YOU TUBE!!!!!!!! I LOVE EVERY SINGLE THING ABOUT TRESPASSING!!! IT IS AN INCREDIBLE ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!  You're here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been wondering about Adam's AI finale. I think I remember that Kiss was a surprise guest that night. Maybe Queen, also? I've always thought the season 8 finale was extra glittery with stars. Figured you would know. Was it as special as I think it was? I've been to 3 Finales and the Season 8 one was by far the best! Not only because of the excellence of the Idols that season, but also because of the guests: Queen, KISS, Cyndi Lauper, Santana, Rod Stewart! WOW!!!!!!!! |

I LOVE and adore Trespassing. I liked FYE, but I love Trespassing. It feels more like Adam to me. I am so excited for new music and to see him in San Diego! It feels like it has been forever!

Hi, I'll join the discussion on albums...
LOVE BOTH! Yes there are a few songs I skip but that is to be expected in reality, it think.
All time favorite to this day SLEEPWALKER. I have yet to tire of it after how many years:-) And love it LIVE!!! Also the first half of GNT with the remix FYE and Ring of Fire are wonderful...
On FYE my favs besides Sleepwalker are Strut, Sure Fire Winners, FYE, Fever, Soaked. AND, I love Voodoo and Down the Rabbit Hole. Least favorite WWFM, Music Again and I am tepid about IIHY, but liked it live OK.
Trespassing is excellent IMHO. I like all the songs except BTIKM. My favs are Runnin, Take Back, Chokehold, Pop That Lock, Outlaws of Love, Cuckoo, Trespassing, Kickin In. I am tepid about Naked Love - like Underneath but almost to overwrought in production. Also Love all the other Bonus Tracks from the International Albums.
Truth be told about Trespassing, I actually like the Bonus tracks better than the regular album tracks. It is a little sad that they won't be heard by a broader audience and Runnin won't get to be a single - it needs to be a movie soundtrack! Map could have been a good single... By the Rules is a great sit by the pool on a hot day song.
In looking back, from my perspective the evolution makes sense. FYI = Adam living out the Velvet Goldmine wink to Glamrock and really needed to do that - so it seemed to me. Trespassing was a introspective look through Adam's eyes for both the light and dark sides and a gift to his community - again, something he needed to get out of his system - so to speak. All just MHO.
Since these two basic needs for music have been met, I am hoping the A3 will be more free and loose - rather than a statement or node to something he needs to accomplish. Not sure how to express what I am trying to say, since I am not as eloquent with words as our other Atoper's. Hopefully, you will know what I am trying to say.
Funny how all the singles (except FYE) are on my bottom tier... Not sure what that says about me?
Not sure where A3 will head, but I can't wait to find out. No matter, any new music will be welcome:-)

If I do it will be a last minute impromptu looking for stub hub type tickets, LOL. I so look forward to the day when I can meet and party with fellow Atopers! *Wishing* |

It's been a slow day so I though I'd share this. I just uploaded the full performance of wicked, the one that Adam plays Fiyero in. I found the download link to this a long time ago on Tumblr, so I thought I would put it on YouTube so everyone could watch it. Oh and just a side note these videos might be took down because I got a copyright notice when I uploaded it. But other wise enjoy the videos!!!
