Happy Cinco de Mayo Atop. I'm sorry, but I do not understand this celebration... I guessed it, my thinking is very slow. Sorry.

I wonder if Adam has to sell a certain number of albums before record company starts a new CD? Still trying to find out about his world wide sales.. no real info. Drats ooo.. you asked the question in the back of my mind. Is A3 a for sure? imo no one knows... for me the Miami interview was a trigger for all kinds of interpretations and speculations... but I am sure we'll have new music in some form, may be an EP, may be a full album, may be singles... IDK what other options are there...

Actually, it is a much bigger celebration in the US than it is in Mexico. My best explanation is that it's a great day to have an excuse for a party with a theme and to drink lots of Margaritas! Yup!!

Drats ooo.. you asked the question in the back of my mind. Is A3 a for sure? Yes! A3 is for sure. Adam has said so, Shoshanna has said so. If there wasn't going to be an album, RCA had the perfect chance to drop him in January when he left 19R. They didn't! I don't know where or why people are starting or getting these rumors from because nothing like that has come from anyone associated with Adam!

Aleks.. beautiful as always!!! I was just about to post, where is that man hiding, and reading your letter answered my question. This must be an introspective time for him, although perhaps not in the fashion it has been in the past, because he has been through this process before, creating, the aftermath of the creation, a meaningful long term relationship , and it's end. I feel for him, yet trust him to rise above. Thanks, bb:))) I believe him to be fine, just fine; He's regrouping:) And preparing wonderful surprises! (crossing fingers and toes here:))

Wikipedia describes it best - and it really is only celebrated in the state of Puebla in Mexico celebrating Mexico's victory over the French in 1862. I'm in Mexico and there is NOT A THING going on.
However, May 1st was Workers day and is a paid federal holiday for all. Lots of parades, bands and bottle rockets going off all day. Banks, government, etc all closed.
May 3rd, was Dia de la Cruz or Day of the Cross and is celebrated by ALL construction works who put crosses on all sites that have construction workers of any kind. Then at noon they all stop working and it's time for cerveza and tamales but the fireworks start at 5 AM and go on until midnight. REALLY LOUD!! I just turn up the music and listen to Adam all day!

Happy Cinco de Mayo Atop. I'm sorry, but I do not understand this celebration... I guessed it, my thinking is very slow. Sorry. Cinco de Mayo is a tequila-drinking holiday celebrated by Americans wearing sombreros. From Wiki: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinco_de_MayoNot to be confused with Mexican Independence Day, which occurs on September 16. Cinco de Mayo Battle of Puebla Observed by Mexicans, US Americans, mixed nationality Type Multinational Date May 5, 1862 Observances Celebration in Mexico, the United States of Mexican-American culture and experiences. Food, music, folkloric dancing Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a celebration held on May 5. It is celebrated in the United States[1] and regionally in Mexico, primarily in the state of Puebla,[note 1][2][3][4] where the holiday is called El Día de la Batalla de Puebla (English: The Day of the Battle of Puebla).[5][6][7] It originated with Mexican-American communities in the American West as a way to commemorate the cause of freedom and democracy during the first years of the American Civil War,[8][9] and today the date is observed in the United States as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.[10] In the state of Puebla, the date is observed to commemorate the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín. Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico's Independence Day—the most important national patriotic holiday in Mexico—which is celebrated on September 16. ETACinco de Mayo Folk Music

RL has been very sucky lately and I haven't been here forever, so it was funny to see my quote about the Moon Garden on the front page. Like future Crispy came to me and said "Log In! Juniemoon is talking about the Moon Garden. What do you mean you can't remember your password? Are you drunk? You're a waffle, not a burrito!" (also, where has burrito been?)
Just wanted to send kudos to Aleks on her lovely letter to Adam about creating A3. I, too, believe there has to be some sort of transition time to get into a different head space after Trespassing and ending a relationship. That's why I'm so intrigued by the Nile Rodgers tweets. I think he's working on a new song with Nile that has nothing to do with A3. My guess (hope) is that he doing the theme song for the Will Smith movie that Nile is working on. The movie is After Earth, the next summer blockbuster from M. Night Shyamalan that opens in July. Nile tweeted a picture with James Newton Howard who is listed as the writer of the original score of the film. Maybe this is another 2012 situation - having a song on what will probably be a huge blockbuster hit would be a lovely way to transition into the next phase and get his name back out there. Ah well, a breakfast food can dream.
