American Idol: Want to see Adam Lambert accept his trophy at GLAAD 2013 Awards?

So Adam Lambert fans, how would you like to win tickets to see the American Idol star pick up his trophy at this year’s GLAAD awards?

It was confirmed earlier in 2013 that the ‘For Your Entertainment’ star would be receiving the Davidson/Valentini GLAAD Award, a special award presented annually by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation to an openly LGBT individual who has made a significant difference in promoting equal rights for the LGBT community.

Last night the team organising the event revealed that they will be running a very special competition in advance of the big night, offering fans the chance to win tickets to the show and to see Lambert make his speech and pick up his gong in person.

Fans can enter and stand a chance of winning tickets, just by donating to the organisation. $10 will get fans one entry to the contest, $25 will allow three entries and $45 is the cost of six.

A statement on the site reads: “One lucky winner and a guest will receive the ultimate VIP treatment at the GLAAD Media Awards. The winner and a guest will be flown to San Francisco for a two night stay in one of the city’s finest hotels. Once at the GLAAD Media Awards, the winner will walk the red carpet, attend a celebrity VIP reception, and get to see Adam Lambert accept the Davidson/Valentini Award.”

The winner will be revealed on May 8, three days before the ceremony kicks off. The awards night will be held on May 11th at the Hilton San Francisco in Union Square.

Explaining why Adam would be honoured at the awards, GLAAD’s Wilson Cruz said:

Adam Lambert is a two-time GLAAD Media Award nominee, nominated for both of his post American Idol albums. He performed two of his songs during GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles in 2010.

It was reported yesterday that the hunk may also be performing this month on the 2013 Idol finale, though this has not yet been confirmed.

Even before the reorganization of Adamtopia, the Moon Garden thread was a little hard to find. 

Recently, a number of people have expressed the regret that the thread has gone dormant, and Q3 asked
me to write a little something about the Moon Garden – what the thread is all

Earlier
 this month it was announced that Adam Lambert had partnered with The
Trevor Project and AT&T for a special contest, but fans can also
help raise money for the organisation via Twitter.

Lambert has
teamed up with the charity and the U.S. cell phone provider to offer
followers the chance to win a place at an intimate concert along with
attend an exclusive 'meet and greet', but he has now revealed
information on another way to to fundraise for The Trevor Project, which
 is an LGBT crisis and suicide prevention service provider.

Writing
 on his official social networking page over the weekend, the
'Trespassing' superstar explained that AT&T will donate 50¢ (32p) to
 the aforementioned organisation for every 'retweet' the message
receives:
